Whereas, Tmt. V. Anbukkarasi, Data Entry Operator,

Administrative Section, PASIC, Thattanchavady, Puducherry

had deserted her duties and absented herself unauthorisedly

from 29-7-2013 and failed to handover the files/records handled

by her and the keys of her table drawers and almirahs;

And whereas, the undersigned having the power to dismiss

her from service is fully satisfied that for the reasons which

have been recorded in writing in the file concerned it is not

reasonably practicable to hold an inquiry in the manner

provided in rule 5 of PASIC (Control andAppeal) Rules, 1988;

And whereas, on the consideration of the relevant facts and

circumstances of the case, it is considered that the conduct of

Tmt. V. Anbukkarasi is such as to warrant the imposition of the

penalty of dismissal on her as she had been on unauthorised

absence deserting her duties and responsibilities from 29-7-2013

and her whereabouts are also not known and the communications

sent to her last known address were returned unserved;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by

rule 8(ii) of the abovesaid PASIC (Control and Appeal)

Rules, 1988 read with clause (b) of second proviso to

article 311 (2) of the Constitution of India, the undersigned

has decided to impose the penalty of dismissal on her.

The penalty of dismissal is accordingly hereby imposed

on Tmt. V. Anbukkarasi, Data Entry Operator with

immediate effect.

NOTIFICATION

Whereas, the Government of Puducherry vide

G. O. Ms. No. 41, dated 5-8-2003 of Home Department

has instituted a trophy namely the Chief Secretary’s

Police Trophy for Best Police Station to be awarded

every year and to be presented by the Hon'ble Chief

Minister during the Independence Day celebration;

2. And whereas, the committee headed by the Deputy

Inspector-General of Police has forwarded the

recommendation for the Best Police Station to the

Inspector-General of Police. Based on the recommendation,

Inspector-General of Police has selected the Grand

Bazaar Police Station, Puducherry for the award of the

Chief Secretary’s Police Trophy for the Best Police

Station for the year 2013;

3. Now, the selection of the Grand Bazaar Police

Station, Puducherry made by the Inspector-General of

Police is accepted by the Government and accordingly the

Grand Bazaar Police Station, Puducherry is awarded the

Chief Secretary’s Police Trophy for Best Police Station

for the year 2013, which will be presented by the

Hon’ble Chief Minister on the occasion of the

Independence Day 2014.
