TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited offering the highest rate per

lot for the sale of old condemned furnitures, dead stock items

and sports articles of the Office of the Deputy Director

(Sports and Youth Services), Puducherry in as-is-where-is

condition on 8-10-2014.

2. The tenders in plain paper should be sealed and

addressed to the Deputy Director (Sports and Youth

Services), Directorate of School Education, Puducherry duly

superscribing on the envelope as “Tender for the purchase

of old condemned furnitures, dead stock items and sports

articles ” and send to reach the undersigned on or before

3.30 p.m. on 8-10-2014. The tenders will be opened on the

same day at 4.30 p.m. in the presence of the tenderers who

are present. If the last day for receiving the tenders happens

to be a public holiday, the same will be received and

finalised on the next working day.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount of

` 2,000 (Rupees two thousand only) as earnest money

deposit before submitting the tender. The earnest money

deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be returned

immediately after the tender is over/finalised.

4. Tenders received after the due date and time will be

summarily rejected.

5. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject

any or all the tenders without assigning any reason thereof.

6. The sale will be effected only to the highest bidder.

7. The successful tenderer should pay the full amount

immediately and clear the items within 24 hours at his own

risk and cost, failing which the earnest money deposit will

be forfeited.

8. The intending tenderers may inspect the old furnitures,

dead stock items and sports articles during the office hours

on any working day with the permission of the undersigned

at the stores located in Indira Gandhi Stadium, Uppalam,

Puducherry.

9. However, the tender and auction of the items will be

held in the Chamber of the Deputy Director (Sports and

Youth Services), Directorate of School Education.

10. No claim on the quantity and quality of the articles

will be admitted once the tender is admitted.

11. VAT at the rate applicable will be charged @ 10%.

12. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be the final.

Sealed tenders offering the rate per kilogram (excluding

sales tax) are invited for the sale of old newspapers (Tamil

and English) of the Directorate of Economics and Statistics,

No. 505, Kamaraj Salai, Saram, Puducherry -605 013.

2. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the

Director, Directorate of Economics and Statistics,

505, Kamaraj Salai, Saram, Puducherry-605 013 duly

superscribing on the envelope as “Tender for the

purchase of old newspapers (Tamil and English)” and

should reach the undersigned on or before 29-9-2014

at 12.00 noon. The tenders will be opened at 3.00 p.m.

on the same day in the presence of the attending

tenderers and then public auction will be started.

3. Based on the highest quotings on the sealed tender,

open auction will be conducted at 3.30 p.m. on the same

day i.e. on 29-9-2014.

4. The intending tenderers should pay an amount of

` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) in this office as earnest

money deposit before submission of their tenders.

5. Earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers will be refunded on the same day as soon as

the tender sale is over.

6. Tenders received after the due date and time

prescribed will summarily be rejected.

NOTICE

The undermentioned person has requested permission to set up the following industry in the Bahour Commune

Panchayat limits as detailed below:

7. The successful tenderer should pay the entire

quoted/bid amount as soon as the offer is accepted and

the old newspapers and journals are weighed. The old

newspapers and journals should be cleared within

24 hours from the time of weighing and the payment is

made therefor with the prior permission of the

undersigned . If the tenderer fails to clear the old

newspapers and journals in the stipulated time, the ground

rent at ` 15 (Rupees fifteen only) per day will be

collected from the tenderer until they are cleared.

8. Sales tax/VAT will be collected as per rules in force.

The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject any

bid or to postpone the auction without assigning any

reason thereof and in case of any dispute, the decision

of the auctioning authority will be final and binding.

9. No claim about the quality and quantity of the old

newspapers/journals will be admitted once the tender is

finalised.

10. If the tender opening day happens to be a public

holiday, the same will be opened on the next working day.
