section 34 of the Puducherry Town and Country Planning Act, 1969, that a copy of the map indicating the areas of

proposed changes in land-use will be kept for inspection during office hours between 2.30 p.m. and 5.30 p.m. on any

working day in the Office of the Karaikal Planning Authority, Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Administrative Complex,

Karaikal and any person intends to make any objections/suggestions/representations with regard to the change

PUBLIC AUCTION-CUM-TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders on behalf of the President of India are

invited by the Additional Director of Agriculture (T & V),

Thattanchavady, Puducherry-605 009 for the purchase of

unserviceable articles such as wooden furniture, steel

furniture, office machinery, electrical items, miscellaneous

and laboratory equipment belonging to the Office of the

Additional Director of Agriculture (T & V), Agriculture

Department in as-is-where-is condition.

2. Copies of the tender schedule with terms and

conditions can be had from this office on payment

of ` 105 (Rupees one hundred and five only) inclusive

of tax (non-refundable) in person by cash.

The tender notice is also available in the department

website : http://agri.puducherry.gov.in. The last date for

sale of tender schedule and submission of sealed tender

Puducherry, the 23rd September 2014.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders offering the rates are invited for sale

of old/unserviceable ballot boxes, furniture/office

equipments as detailed in the Annexure belonging to

the State Election Commission, Puducherry in as-is-

where-is condition.

2. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the

Commissioner, State Election Commission, Reddiarpalayam,

Puducherry duly superscribing on the envelope as

“Tender for purchase of old/unserviceable ballot boxes,

furniture/office equipments” and sent to the undersigned

and reach on or before 11.00 a.m. on 13-10-2014. The

tenders will be opened at 12.00 noon on the same day

in the presence of the tenderers, if any, in the State

Election Commission, Reddiarpalayam, Puducherry. If

the day for opening the tenders happens to be a public

holiday for any reason, the tenders will be received and

opened by the same time on the next working day.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount

of ` 5,200 ( Rupees five thousand and two hundred

only) as earnest money deposit.

4. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers will be refunded immediately after the tender

is over.

5. Tenders received after the due date and time will

be rejected.

6. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject all/any tender without assigning any reason

thereof.

7. The successful tenderer should pay the full

amount including sales tax/VAT immediately and clear

the items within 24 hours at his own risk and cost,

failing which the earnest money deposit will be forfeited.

8. No claim on the quantity and quality of the

articles will be admitted once the tender is finalised.

9. The intending tenderers can inspect the articles

during the office hours in the State Election Commission

(at IV floor), Puducherry in all working days from

30-9-2014 onwards.

10. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be final.

11. Sales tax/VAT will be collected as per prevailing

rules.
