TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE
Sealed tenders offering the rate are invited for the
sale of old/unserviceable/obsolete laboratory articles/
instruments/apparatus/equipments as detailed in the
Annexure belonging to the Department of Physics,
Tagore Arts College, Puducherry in as-is-where is condition.
2. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the
Principal, Tagore Arts College, Puducherry duly
superscribing on the envelope as “Tender for purchase
of old/unserviceable/obsolete laboratory articles/instruments/
apparatus/equipments” and sent to reach the undersigned
on or before 27-10-2014 at 11.00 a.m. The tenders will
be opened at 12.00 noon on the same day in the
presence of the tenderers if any in the Office of the
Principal, Tagore Arts College, Puducherry. If the day
for opening the tenders happens to be a public holiday
for any reason, the tenders will be received and opened
by the same time on the next working day.
3. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount
of ` 1,500 (Rupees one thousand and five hundred
only) as earnest money deposit.
4. Earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers
will be refunded immediately after the tender is over.
5. Tenders received after the due date and time will
be rejected.
6. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or
reject all/any tender without assigning any reason thereof.
7. The successful tenderer should pay the full
amount including sales tax/VAT immediately and clear
the items within 24 hours at his own risk and cost,
failing which the earnest money deposit will be forfeited.
8. No claim on the quantity and quality of the
articles will be admitted once the tender is finalised.
9. The intending tenderers can inspect the articles
during the office hours in the Department of Physics,
Tagore Arts College, Puducherry in all working days
from 13-10-2014 onwards.
10. In case of any dispute, the decision of the
undersigned will be the final.
11. Sales tax/VAT will be collected as per prevailing rules.

TENDER NOTICE
Sealed tenders offering the rate per kilogram (excluding
sales tax) are invited for the sale of old newspapers (English
and Tamil), magazines and old books belonging to Motilal Nehru
Government Polytechnic College, Lawspet, Puducherry.
2. The approximate quantity of the old newspapers,
magazines and old books are furnished below:

separately for each item and addressed to the Principal,
Motilal Nehru Government Polytechnic College, Lawspet,
Puducherry, duly superscribing on the envelope as “Tender
for the purchase of old newspapers, magazines and old
books”. The sealed tenders will be received by this office up to
11.00 a.m. on 29-10-2014. The tenders will be opened at 11.30
a.m. on the same day in the presence of the tenderers who are
present at that time. The highest rate quoted among all
the sealed tenders will be accepted subject to the final
decision of the undersigned.
4. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount
of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) by cash as earnest
money deposit while submitting their sealed tenders. The
earnest money deposit would be returned to the unsuccessful
tenderers after finalising the rate.
5. Tenders received after the due date and time will
summarily be rejected.
6. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject
any tender in part or whole without assigning any reason
thereof.
7. The successful tenderer should pay the full amount
including sales tax immediately and clear the items within
24 hours at his own risk and cost, failing which the earnest
money deposit amount will be forfeited.

8. The successful tenderer cannot claim for the quantity
and quality of the items after the auction is over.
9. If the successful tenderer fails to pay the full amount
including sales tax within the specified time, auction will be
passed on to the second highest tenderer forfeiting the
earnest money deposit amount.
10. The intending tenderers can inspect the articles during
the office hours in the library of this institution.
11. In case of any dispute, the decision of the undersigned
will be final.
12. The old newspapers will be weighed in the
department's weighing-machine and delivered to the
successful tenderer.

TENDER NOTICE
Sealed tenders are invited by the undersigned for
the sale of various unserviceable articles in a lot
system (Lot I and II), belonging to the Indira Gandhi
Government General Hospital and Postgraduate
Institute, Puducherry in as-is-where-is condition.
2. The intending tenderers may inspect the items
at Indira Gandhi Government General Hospital and
Postgraduate Institute, Puducherry during office hours
between 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 noon from 27-10-2014
to 29-10-2014 with the permission of the officer
concerned.
3. Copies of tender schedule can be had from the
Cashier, Office of the undersigned in person on payment
of ` 200 (Rupees two hundred only) plus sales tax/VAT
as admissible (non-refundable) for the sale of above
items from 27-10-2014 to 29-10-2014 between 10.00 a. m.
and 12.00 noon.
4. Sealed tenders addressed to the Medical
Superintendent, Indira Gandhi Government General
Hospital and Postgraduate Institute, Puducherry
Superscribing on the envelope as “Tender for sale of
unserviceable articles” should reach this office on or
before 30-10-2014 at 12.00 noon.
5. The tender should be offered in prescribed tender
form only. Otherwise the tender will be rejected
6. Tenders will be opened at 4.00 p.m. on 31-10-2014
in the Indira Gandhi Government General Hospital and
Postgraduate Institute, Puducherry in the presence of
the tenderers who are present at the time of opening.
7. If the highest tender amount offered by the bidder
is found to be not acceptable to the undersigned, public
auction will be conducted on the spot keeping the
highest tender amount as minimum bid.
8. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful
tenderers will be refunded only after finalisation of the
tender by the competent authority.
9. The rate should be quoted separately for lot I and
lot II. Each tenderer should enclose a demand draft for
` 20,000 (Rupees twenty thousand only) as earnest
money deposit drawn in favour of Junior Accounts
Officer, Indira Gandhi Government General Hospital and
Postgraduate Institute, Puducherry.
10. The tenderer or his authorised agent (only one
person) may choose to be present at the time of
opening the tender. Authorised person should bring
authorisation letter as prescribed.
11. Acceptance of the tender will be intimated to the
successful tenderer after finalisation of the tender. Only
successful tenderer allowed to clear the materials.
Authorisation is not allowed.
12. The successful tenderer should pay the total cost
of articles plus sales tax/VAT thereon at the prevailing
rate immediately after conclusion of the tender. The
tenderers should quote their rates only, exclusive of
sales tax/VAT, which will be collected extra.
13. The successful tenderer should make his own
arrangements to clear the articles from the premises as
early as possible between 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. on
the working days only, failing which the earnest money
deposited by him will be forfeited.
14. This office will not be in any way held responsible
for the safe custody or any loss of the sold articles.
15. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any
or all tenders without assigning any reason thereof and
the decision of the undersigned in this regard will be
final and binding on all the tenders.
16. All the tenderers are deemed to have read and
accepted all the terms and conditions herein mentioned.
