TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders offering the rate per kilogram are

invited for the disposal of old newspapers (Tamil and

English) in the Department of Sainik Welfare, No. 261,

Lawspet Main Road, Pakkamudayanpet, Puducherry-605 008

on as-is-where-is condition basis.

2. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the

Director, Department of Sainik Welfare, No. 261, Lawspet

Main Road, Pakkamudayanpet, Puducherry-605 008 duly

superscribing on the envelope as “Tender for the purchase

of old newspapers” so as to reach this department on or

before 28-11-2014 at 3.00 p.m. The tenders will be

opened on the same day at 4.00 p.m. in the presence of

tenderers present.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount

of ` 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only) as earnest money

deposit through crossed demand draft with the cashier

and obtain temporary receipt for it. The earnest money

deposited by the unsuccessful tenderer will be refunded

after the tenders are opened and those of successful

tenderer will be converted into security deposit to be kept

in Government account as per procedure.

4. The tenders received after the due date and time

will be rejected.

5. In the event of successful tenderer failing to pay

the cost in full and lift the newspapers at the agreed rate

at their own expenses before the close of the fourth day

counted from the date of receipt of communication from

this office, the security deposit will be once and forever

appropriated in favour of the Government and the

concerned individual will lose the right of removal of the

items/newspapers.

6. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any or

all the tenders without assigning any reason.

Contravention of the rules of tender notice will result in

the forfeiture of the earnest money deposit/security

deposit.

7. The rates finalised/approved shall be valid for a

period of one year from the date of acceptance/

communication of rates so approved.

8. The removal of newspapers from the office shall

be only during working hours.

9. Sales tax will be collected as per rules.

10. The successful tenderer should make his own

arrangements to weigh the old newspapers subject to the

satisfaction of the undersigned in regard to weighment.

11. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

Director, Department of Sainik Welfare, Puducherry will

be final.

12. The old newspapers may be inspected in the

department complex from the previous day of tender to

the time of submission of tender.

TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited for the sale of condemned

colour televisions and old newspapers (Tamil and English)

belonging to the Block Development Office, Ariankuppam

Block, Ariankuppam, Puducherry as detailed in the

Annexure in as-is-where-is condition.

2. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the

Block Development Officer, Ariankuppam Block,

Ariankuppam, Puducherry-7, duly superscribing on the

envelope as “Tender for purchase of condemned colour

televisions and old newspapers” and sent so as to reach

this office on or before 11.00 a.m. on 4-12-2014. The

tenders will be opened at 11.30 a.m. on the same day in

the presence of the tenderers by the Block Development

Officer, Block Development Office, Ariankuppam Block,

Puducherry-7. If 4-12-2014 happens to be a public

holiday the process on the receipt and opening of tenders

will be at the same time on the next working day.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount

of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) as earnest money

deposit.

4. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers will be refunded immediately after finalisation

of the tender.

5. Tenders received after the due date and time will

be rejected.

6. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any tender without assigning any reasons thereof.

7. The successful tenderer should make his own

arrangement to weigh the old newspapers.

8. The successful tenderer should pay the full cost

plus sales tax if any immediately and clear the items

within 24 hours at his own risk and cost, failing which

the earnest money deposit will be forfeited into the

Puducherry Government account.

9. No claim on the quantity and quality of the articles

will be admitted once the tender is finalised. The

intending tenderers can inspect the articles in the Office

of the Block Development Officer, Block Development

Office, Ariankuppam Block, Puducherry-7. The item at

Sl. No. 1 to 18 i.e., condemned colour television sets can

be inspected at Community Hall (old BDO office), Bahour

Main Road (near water tank), Karikalampakkam,

Puducherry-7 from 10 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. on all working

days with the permission of the undersigned.

10. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be final. The rate for each item should

be quoted separately per kilogram, Nos. and on lot basis

for item Nos. 1 to 18.

1. The tenders should be addressed to the Arignar

Anna Government Higher Secondary School, Kunichampet,

Puducherry superscribing as “Tender for the purchase of

old/unserviceable furniture and dead stock items” so as to

reach the undersigned on or before 19-12-2014 at 3.00 p.m.

2. Tenders received after the due date and time will be

summarily rejected.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount of

` 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only) as earnest money

deposit before submission of tender.

4. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers will be refunded after the tender is over/

finalised.

5. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any tender or all the items without assigning any

reason thereof. The decision of the undersigned is final in

case of any dispute.

6. The successful tenderer should pay the entire

amount immediately and clear all the articles within

24 hours at his own risk and cost, failing which the

earnest money deposit will be forfeited.

7. No claim about the quantity, quality and value of the

old/unserviceable furniture and dead stock items will be

admitted once the tender is finalised.

8. The intending tenderers can inspect the old/

unserviceable furniture and dead stock items during the

office hours on any working day in the Arignar Anna
