NOTIFICATION

The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry is pleased to make the

following rules further to amend the Pondicherry Freedom Fighters

Pension Rules, 1970 issued under G.O. Ms. No. 51-Home (I), dated

20th July 1970 of the Chief Secretariat (Home-I) Department, Puducherry

and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No. 69, dated the 30th July 1970,

namely :-



(i) These rules may be called the Pondicherry Freedom Fighters

Pension (Amendment) Rules, 2014.

(ii) They shall be deemed to have come into force with effect

from 1-12-2014.

Amendment of rule 5.— In the Pondicherry Freedom Fighters

Pension Rules, 1970 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules) in rule 5,

for the letters and figures “Rs. 5,000”, the symbol and figures “` 7,000”,

shall be substituted.

Amendment of rule 6.— (1) In the said rules, in rule 6, for the letters

and figures “Rs. 5,000”, the symbol and figures “` 7,000”, shall be

substituted.
