NOTIFICATION
Whereas, the Government of Puducherry has constituted a committee for
delimitation of Municipal Wards, Commune Panchayat Wards and Village Panchayat
Wards and also for determining reservation of seats etc., on the basis of Census 2011,
vide G.O. Ms. No. 9/LAS/A4/2013, dated 22-5-2013 and G.O. Ms. No. 15/LAS/A4/2014,
dated 21-8-2013 of Local Administration Secretariat, Government of Puducherry;
2. And whereas, the methodology under which both official and non-official
members are to be paid remuneration/honorarium from the date of their assumption viz.,
27-5-2013, till the date of completion of the task, was not mentioned hereunder;
3. And whereas, the Lieutenant-Governor is pleased to grant a consolidated
remuneration in two instalments to the non-official members and the first instalment
at the time of submission of recommendation on Municipal Ward and second at
the time of submission of recommendation on Panchayat Ward/Village Ward
and to grant a consolidated special remuneration equivalent to their one month's
salary (Pay + Grade Pay) to the two official members after the entire process of
delimitation;

4. Now therefore, in light of the clarification obtained from the Finance
Department, Puducherry, it is decided that the two non-official members
viz., Thiru G. Panneerselvam, Chairman and Thiru V. Nagarajan, Member shall be paid
remuneration @ ` 50,000 (Rupees fifty thousand only) and ` 40,000 (Rupees forty
thousand only) respectively in two instalments. The 50% of remuneration shall be
paid after submission of recommendation on Municipal Ward and the remaining 50%
after submission of recommendation on Panchayat Ward/Village Ward and two
officials viz., the Director of Local Administration Department and the Commissioner
of Puducherry Municipality who are in a continuous period, not less than 6 months
in a session during the tenure of the delimitation committee shall be
granted consolidated special remuneration equivalent to their one month's
salary (Pay + Grade Pay) after the entire process of delimitation.

NOTIFICATION
Whereas, the Government of Puducherry has constituted a committee for
delimitation of Municipal Wards, Commune Panchayat Wards and Village Panchayat
Wards and also for determining reservation of seats etc., on the basis of Census 2011,
vide G.O. Ms. No. 9/LAS/A4/2013, dated 22-5-2013 of Local Administration
Secretariat, Government of Puducherry. Wherein, the panel of official members were
notified by the names of these officers officiating in these posts, at the time
o f no tifi catio n . As these o ffici als a re b ei ng fre q uent ly tra nsferr ed ,
the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry has been pleased to make the following
amendments namely :—
AMENDMENT
Paragraph 3 of the Government Order, dated 22-5-2013 shall be substituted
as below :
The composition of the committee will be as follows:
