TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited by the undersigned for the

purchase of unserviceable Meter Test Bench belonging to

this department as detailed below in as-is-where-is condition.

2. The tenders should be submitted in sealed cover

superscribed as “Tender for the purchase of meter test

benches’ and addressed to the “Financial Controller, Electricity

Department, Puducherry”. The tender should reach this office

on or before 11.00 a.m. on 21-4-2015 and the same will be

opened at 11.30 a.m. on the same day in the presence of

tenderers, if any.

3. The envelope should bear the name and address of

the firm and seal if any of the tenderer.

4. Every correction in the tender should invariably be

attested/signed by the tenderer, failing which the tender

will be liable for rejection.

5. The earnest money deposit of ` 24,000 (Rupees

twenty-four thousand only) should be made either by crossed

demand draft or Banker’s cheque on any Scheduled Bank

or State Bank of India, drawn in favour of the Junior Accounts

Officer (B&E), Electricity Department, Puducherry, payables

at Puducherry.

6. The tender should be sent in double cover (envelope).

The outer cover should contain crossed demand draft/Banker’s

cheque for earnest money deposit and the inner cover should

contain the bid amount of the tender. In case, if the outer

cover does not contain crossed demand draft/Banker’s cheque

the inner cover will not be opened and it will be rejected.

7. Tenders received after the due date and time will

summarily be rejected.

8. The earnest money deposit of unsucessful tenderers

will be returned on the finalisation of tender. The earnest

money deposit of the successful tenderer will be adjusted

against the cost of the meter test benches.

9. Acceptance of the tender will be intimated to the

successful tenderer in writing within a reasonable time.

10. The materials will be released to the successful tenderer

only after the full payment is made.

11. Sales tax/VAT will be collected as per rules.

12. The successful tenderer has to make full payment in

the form of crossed demand draft/Banker’s cheque in favour

of the Junior Accounts Officer/B&E, Electricity Department,

Puducherry payable at Puducherry, failing which the earnest

money deposit shall stand forfeited without any further

correspondence.

13. The successful bidder is required to lift/remove all

the items earmarked for him from the LAB section, Electricity

Department, Puducherry during office hours without causing

any damage to the property of the department within 15

days from the date of full payment.

14. No claim about the quantity and quality of the materials

will be accepted.

15. The materials which are to be disposed of can be

seen by the tenderer in the LAB section, Main office campus,

Electricity Department, Puducherry during office hours on

any working day (9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and 2.00 p.m. to

5.00 p.m.) after obtaining permission from the Assistant

Engineer/LTM&LAB, Electricity Department, Puducherry.

16. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be final.

NOTICE INVITING e-TENDERS FOR THE SUPPLY

OF PAPER/BOARD ITEMS FOR THE YEAR 2015-16

e-Tenders are invited on behalf of the President of

India by the Director of Stationery and Printing,

Puducherry for centralised purchase of paper/board

items for use in the Directorate of Stationery and

Printing, Puducherry for the year 2015-16 through

e-procurement system. Bidders should submit their

tender o nline at the Government website: http://

pudutenders.gov.in. The tender details, terms and

conditions and time schedule may also be downloaded

from the website: http://www.py.gov.in and http://

styandptg.puducherry.gov.in for reference only. The

tenders will be processed online only and hence,

AUCTION NOTICE

Certain unserviceable/obsolete articles mentioned in

the Annexure belonging to the Directorate of Social

Welfare will be disposed off through public auction by

the Director in the premises of the Directorate of Social

Welfare, Saradhambal Nagar, Puducherry-605 005

at 3.30 p.m. on 6-5-2015.

Conditions of sale

1. The old unserviceable/obsolete articles can be

seen on the preceding day of the date of auction in the

Directorate of Social Welfare, Saradhambal Nagar,

Puducherry-605 005, during office hours (8.45 a.m.

to 1.00 p.m. and 2.00 p.m. to 5.45 p.m.)

2. Each bidder should deposit a sum of ` 500 as

earnest money deposit by cash one hour before the

commencement of the auction (i.e., by 2.30 p.m. on
