New Delhi, dated the 21st October 2014.
NOTIFICATION
S.O. 2735(E).— In pursuance of clause (1) of Article 239 of the Constitution,
the President hereby directs that the Administrator or the Lieutenant-Governor, as
the case may respectively of the Union Territories of Andaman and Nicobar Islands,
Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Lakshadweep, Puducherry
and the National Capital Territory of Delhi shall, subject to the control of the
President and until further orders, also exercise the powers and discharge the
functions of the State Government under the National Investigation Agency
Act, 2008 (34 of 2008) in respect of their respective Union Territories with effect
from the date of publication of the notification in the official gazette.
