NOTIFICATION

The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry is pleased to

confer the Deputy Commissioner (Commercial Taxes),

Puducherry with ex officio status of Joint Secretary to

Government, in conformity with his present grade in

Pondicherry Civil Service.

2. This takes with immediate effect.

TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders offering the rate per kilogram are invited

by the undersigned item-wise for the following items of

this Division office as detailed below :

2. Tenders superscribed as “Tender for purchase of

old newspapers (Tamil and English), old rules books and

other wastepapers” should be addressed to the undersigned

so as to reach this office on or before 19-6-2015 by 3.30 p.m.

The tenders will be opened at 4.30 p.m. on the same day

in the presence of the tenderers who are present at that

time in the chamber of the undersigned.

3. The intending tenderers should remit a sum of

` 200 (Rupees two hundred only) as earnest money deposit

in cash. The same will be refunded to the unsuccessful

tenderers after finalisation of tender. The tenders received

after the due date and time will be rejected.

4. The intending tenderers may inspect the items viz.,

old newspapers/old rules books/wastepapers during office

hours on any working day from 15-6-2015 to 18-6-2015

with the permission of the undersigned.

5. The selected tenderer should make his own

arrangement for weighing and should pay the total cost

of all the items including tax immediately and remove the

same at his own expenses within 24 hours, failing which

the earnest money deposit will be forfeited. No claim on

the quality/quantity will be admitted once the tender is

finalised.

6. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject

any bid or to postpone the auction without assigning any

reason thereof.

7. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be final.
