NOTIFICATION

The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry is pleased to approve

enhancement of funeral assistance under “The Puducherry Old Age Persons

and Destitutes Pension Rules, 2011” notified in G.O. Ms. No. 42/2011-

Wel(SW-IV), dated 23-12-2011 of the Chief Secretariat (Welfare),

Puducherry and published in the Gazette of Puducherry, Extraordinary

Part-II, No.3, dated 2nd January 2012 and for the said purpose hereby

makes the further amendment to the said rules, namely:—

AMENDMENT

Amendment of rule 14.— In sub-rule (1) of rule 14 of the Puducherry

Old Age Persons and Destitutes Pension Rules, 2011, for the word and

figures “` 2,000” wherever applicable the words and figures “` 5,000

(Rupees five thousand only)” shall be substituted.

They shall come into force on and from the date of their

notification in the official gazette.

2. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department, vide

their U.O. No. 1182/F5/A2, dated 22-5-2015.
