The Managing Director, PIPDIC reserves the right to change the opening time and date of the tender for

administrative reason by notifying the same in the website.

2. Tender Form-6 and BOQ can be downloaded and submitted online through the website https://

pudutenders.gov.in only by those contractors who are having valid ikey and digital signature certificate and the

tender forms cannot be purchased from the Office of PIPDIC by remitting the cash in the Office of PIPDIC and no

pre-request for issue of tender forms will be entertained in Office of PIPDIC.

3. Submission of earnest money deposit and cost of tender document :

(i) The cost of tender document is ` 1000 (Rupees one thousand only) for work costing more than

` 50 lakhs and ` 500 (rupees five hundred only) for work costing less than ` 50 lakhs plus VAT 5% (Non-refundable).

(ii) The cost of tender document and earnest money deposit (as noted in column (6) and (5) of the Table

above) are to be in the form of demand draft of any Nationalised/Scheduled Bank in favour of the Managing Director,

PIPDIC, Puducherry on above-mentioned dates. Both the demand draft of earnest money deposit and tender document

cost are to be scanned and uploaded in the appropriate cover of the e-tender and the demand draft in physical form

are to be submitted to M/s. PIPDIC, using the tender box, in sealed envelope superscribed as “Tender fee/earnest

money deposit for the work of strengthening and blacktopping and providing drainage facilities to the existing

damaged 16th, 17th and 18th roads at Mettupalayam Industrial Estate” and “Widening of 7th Cross road and

providing drainage facility to the south lane of II Main road from B-66 to Sedarapet village road at Sedarapet Industrial

Estate, Puducherry” on or before the closing date and time 17-6-2015 at 3.30 p.m.

4. On the schedule time and date of opening, the Managing Director, PIPDIC authorises the opening of

tender on the notified time. The eligible contractors can access the particulars, after opening of tender in the website.

The department will not be liable for any delay in submission of tender.

5. A copy of the enlistment of contractor issued by the competent authority should also be submitted,

(i.e.,) copy of registration, in the form of scanned copy along with earnest money deposit cover.

6. The contractors having completed three similar works in Government Departments/Organisations are

eligible to participate in tenders and performance reports are also to be furnished.

7. The contractors should submit a self-declaration showing the details of work on their hand in the form

of scanned copy along with earnest money deposit cover.

8. The times allowed are 6 (six) months and 5 (five) months for carrying out the works as noted in

column (8) of the Table above which will be including monsoon period.

9. If the last date of opening day of tenders happens to be a public holiday the same will be opened on the

next working day.

10. The Managing Director, PIPDIC reserves the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning

any reason thereof.

11. The tender box is kept in the chamber of the Managing Director, PIPDIC for dropping of earnest money

deposit covers.

TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited for the sale of old

condemned furniture and electrical items of the State

Training Centre, under the control of Directorate of

School Education in as-is-where-is condition on 12-6-2015.

2. The tender in plain paper should be sealed and

addressed to the Officer on Special Duty, Directorate

of School Education, Puducherry duly subscribing on the

envelope as “Tender for the purchase of old condemned

furniture and electrical items” and sent to reach the

undersigned on or before 12-6-2015 at 4.00 p.m. The

tenders will be opened on the same day at 4.30 p.m. in

the presence of the tenderers who are present.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount

of ` 100 (Rupees one hundred only) as earnest money

deposit. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers will be returned immediately after the tender

sale is over.

4. Tenders received after the due date and time will

be summarily rejected.

5. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any or all the tenders without assigning any

reason thereof.

6. The successful tenderer should pay the full

amount immediately and clear the items within 24 hours

at his own risk and cost, failing which the earnest

money deposit will be forfeited.

7. The intending tenderers may inspect the old

condemned furniture items during office hours on any

working day with the permission of the Officer on

Special Duty, State Training Centre, without any

disturbance to the office.

8. No claim on the quality and quantity of the articles

will be admitted once the tender is admitted.

9. VAT at the rate applicable will be charged @ 10%.

10. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be the final.

4. Bidders should submit their tender online at the Government website pudutenders.gov.in with proof

of payment of tender fee ` 156 (by demand draft) drawn in favour of the Senior Accounts Officer, Directorate

of Stationery and Printing, Puducherry, payable at Puducherry. This amount is not refundable. If the tenderer

wish to quote for all the items, separate tender fee for each item shall be furnished.

5. The tender details, and terms and conditions may also be downloaded from the website http://

www.py.gov.in and http://styandptg.puducherry.gov.in for reference only. Tenders will be processed online only

through https://pudutenders.gov.in, hence hardcopy submission will not be accepted.

6. The technical tender and other documents will be evaluated only on receipt of tender fee and earnest
