The Puducherry Land Grant (Amendment) Rules, 2015

The Lieutenant- Governor, Puducherry, hereby makes the following

further amendment to the Puducherry Land Grant Rules, 1975 issued in

G.O. Ms. No. 91, dated 4th August 1975 of the Revenue Department,

Puducherry and published in the Part-II of the Extraordinary Gazette No. 180,

dated 9th October 1975, namely:–

AMENDMENT

1. Short title and commencement.— (i) These rules may be called

the Puducherry Land Grant (Amendment) Rules, 2015.

(ii) These rules shall apply to the whole of the Union territory

of Puducherry from the date of its publication in the official gazette.

2. Amendment of rule 2(k).— In the Puducherry Land Grant Rules, 1975

(hereinafter referred to as the said rules), in rule 2 for clause (k),

the following shall be substituted, namely:–

“(k) poor person means a person with a family whose annual

income does not exceed ` 75,000”.
