NOTIFICATION

The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry is pleased to make the

following rules further to amend the “Grant of Financial Assistance to Old

Age Pensioners for Medical Treatment Rules, 2001” notified in G.O. Ms.

No. 31/2002-Wel(SW-IV), dated 6-8-2002 of the Chief Secretariat (Welfare).

AMENDMENT

1. Short title, extent and commencement.— (i) These rules may

be called the “Grant of Financial Assistance to Old Age Pensioners for

Medical Treatment (Amendment) Rules, 2015”.

(ii) They shall come into force with effect from 1-6-2015.

2. Amendment of rule 5.— In the “Grant of Financial Assistance

to Old Age Pensioners for Medical Treatment Rules, 2001” (hereinafter

referred as the said rules) in rule 5, for the figure and words “Rs. 100

(Rupees one hundred only)”, the figure and words “` 500 (Rupees five

hundred only)” shall be substituted.

3. Amendment of Forms.— In Form II (Order of Sanction for Grant

of Financial Assistance to Old Age Pensioners for Medical Treatment)

in para 1, for the figure and words “Rs. 100 (Rupees one hundred only)”,

the figure and words “` 500 (Rupees five hundred only)” shall be

substituted.

In Form IV (Order for Renewal of Sanction) in para 1, for the

figure “100” the figure “500” shall be substituted.

2. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department,

vide their U.O.No. 1374/F5/A2, dated 26-6-2015.
