TENDER NOTICE
Sealed tenders are invited offering the rate for purchase
of unserviceable furniture and canteen articles mentioned
in the Annexure belonging to Government Lower Primary
School, Palloor North, Mahe
2. The tender in a sealed cover superscribing as
“Tender for the purchase of unserviceble items” should
be addressed to the Headmistress, Government Lower
Primary School, Palloor North, Mahe so as to reach this
office on or before l0 a.m. on 8-10-2015. The tenders
will be opened at 11.30 a.m. on the same day in the
presence of bidders, if any. Tender will be awarded to the
highest bidder on the spot.
3. Those who are interested to participate in the tender
must deposit an earnest money deposit of ` 100 (Rupees
one hundred only). The earnest money deposit of the
unsuccessful bidders will be returned after finalizing the
tender and that of successful bidder will be kept towards
the cost of the items.
4. The tender will be conducted for all the items in
a lot. Bidders those interested may inspect the items
before they submit the tender to know the exact condition
of the items kept on any working day.
5. The undersigned reserves right to cancel the tender
without assigning any reasons thereof. Any breach of the
rules of tender notice will result in the forfeiture of the
earnest money deposit.
6. The successful bidder should pay the amount of
bid immediately after completion of the tender finalization
and should remove the condemned items within two days
(on working days only) at his own risk and expenses.
Sales tax applicable will be collected extra.
7. No claim about the quantity, quality and the value
of the sold goods will be admitted later.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE
It is decided to dispose a list of condemned articles
belonging to Office of the Council of Ministers,
Puducherry on as-is-where-is-condition. The same will
be disposed of through public tender-cum-auction on
6-10-2015 at 4.30 p.m. in the premises of Office of the
Council of Ministers, Puducherry where the articles are
lying for inspection. The proposed condemned items are
listed in the Annexure to this notice.
Terms and conditions
1. Public tender will be received up to 3.00 p.m. on
6-10-2015 in the Office of the Council of Ministers,
Puducherry and auction will be conducted at 4.30 p.m.
2. The intending bidders should deposit an amount
of ` 2,000 (Rupees two thousand only) before 3.00 p.m.
on 6-10-2015 as earnest money deposit to the Office of
the Council of Ministers, Puducherry before participating
in the public auction and obtain temporary receipt.
The earnest money deposit of unsuccessful bidders will
be refunded after the tenders are opened and decided.
3. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or
reject any bid without assigning any reason thereof.
4. The successful bidder should pay the full amount
immediately and clear the articles within 24 hours at his
own cost failing which the earnest money deposit will
be forfeited.
5. The Government will in no way held responsible
for the safe custody of the articles, once the bids are
auctioned.
6. No claim about the conditions and value of the
articles will be admitted once the public auction is over/
finalized.
7. Sales tax as per rates in force will be charged extra
on the amount so finalized.
8. The intending
tenderers can
inspect the
condemned articles during office hours in the Office of
the Council of Ministers, Puducherry with the
permission of the Private Secretary to Chief Minister,
Office of the Council of Ministers, Puducherry.
9. In case of any dispute, the decision of the
undersigned will be final.

books and gunny bags belonging to the Office of the

2. Sealed tenders should be addressed to the
undersigned duly superscribed on the envelope as
“Tender for the purchase of old newspapers” and
sent so as to reach the Office of the Vice-Principal,
V.N. Purushothaman Government Higher Secondary
School, Palloor on or before 12.00 noon on 28-9-2015.
The tenders will be opened at 3.00 p.m. on the same day
in the presence of the tenderers.
3.
The intending tenderers should deposit an
amount of ` 100 (Rupees one hundred only) as earnest
money deposit in cash and it will be refunded to the
unsuccessful bidders, after the acceptance of the
highest tender/finalization of the tender. Tenders without
the above earnest money deposit will not be taken into
consideration. The terms and conditions related to the
acceptance of tender are as follows.
The tenders received after the due date and time
will be rejected.
The successful tenderer should pay the full amount
immediately and clear the items within 24 hours at
his own risk and expenses.
The successful tenderer should make his/her own
arrangements for weighing the old newspapers.
Sales tax will be collected extra as per the rate
applicable.

2. Tenders in sealed covers superscribed as “Tender
for the purchase of old newspapers, old answer scripts,
and outdated text books” should be addressed to the
Vice-Principal, Government Higher Secondary School,
Thirumalairayanpattinam-609 606, Karaikal.
3. The rate should be quoted separately for each
item both in figures and words.
4. The tenders should reach the undersigned on or
before 28-9-2015 at 3.00 p.m. and it will be opened on
the same date at 3.30 p.m. in the presence of the
tenderers or their authorised representatives who may
be present.
5. Cash deposit of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only)
should be remitted by each tenderer to the Cashier,
Government Higher Secondary School, Thirumalairayan-
pattinam, Karaikal at the time of submitting the sealed
tenders.
6. The earnest money deposit will be refunded to the
unsuccessful tenderers after finalization of tenders. The
tender received after the due date and time will be rejected.
7. The intending tenderers may inspect the items
during the office hours on any working day with the
permission of the undersigned between 10.00 a.m. and
11.00 a.m. during the last three days before the date of
tender sale.
8. The successful tenderer should pay the full
amount immediately and clear the newspapers within
24 hours at his own risk and cost failing which he will
have to forfeit the earnest money deposit.
9. The item should be weighed with proper weighing
machine and scale/weight.
10. No claim on the quantity and quality of the
articles will be admitted once the tender is finalized.
11. The successful tenderer should make his own
arrangements for the weighment of the abovesaid articles.
12. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or
reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason
therefor.
