NOTIFICATION

The Government is pleased to constitute an “Advisory Committee” for selection of beneficiaries for

allotment of tenements/houses to slum dwellers under Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission

(JNNURM) and Rajiv Awas Yojana (RAY) schemes in the Union territory of Puducherry with the following namely:—

1. Secretary to Government (Housing)

. . Chairman

2. District Collector, Puducherry/Karaikal

. . Member

3. Chief Engineer, Public Works Department

. . Member

4. Chief Town Planner, Town and Country Planning Department

. . Member

5. Director, Social Welfare Department

. . Member

6. Chief Executive Officer, Puducherry Slum Clearance Board

. . Member-Secretary.

2. The committee shall select the eligible beneficiaries as per the guidelines of Jawaharlal Nehru National

Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM) and Rajiv Awas Yojana (RAY) schemes and as well as the criteria fixed by

the Government from time to time.
