Advocate for the Government of Puducherry to provide

Delhi and Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.

2. He will not be entitled for any fixed monthly

remuneration.

3. The period of appointment is valid initially for

one year from the date of publication of the notification.

NOTIFICATION

The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India vide order,

dated 7-8-2015 in the Writ Petition(s) (Civil) No(s). 406

of 2013 has directed that the Undertrial Review Committee

should also have the Secretary of the District Legal

Services Authority as one of the members of the

committee;

2. In compliance to the abovesaid directions of the

Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and in partial

modification of the G.O. Ms. No. 40, dated 3rd June 2015

of the Home Department, Government of Puducherry

notifiying the constitution of the District Level

Undertrial Review Committees in the Union territory of

Puducherry and published in the Official Gazette No. 24,

dated 16th June 2015 of the Government of Puducherry

and for the said purpose, the Lieutenant-Governor,

Puducherry hereby makes the following amendment in

respect of the composition of the District Level Undertrial

Review Committees in the Union territory of Puducherry.

AMENDMENT

In the said notification issued under G.O. Ms. No. 40,

dated 3rd June 2015 of the Home Department,

Government of Puducherry, for the existing composition

of the District Level Undertrial Review Committees in

the Union territory of Puducherry, the following shall

be substituted, namely:-

NOTIFICATION

Whereas, the managements of M/s. Reliance Media

Works (BIG Cinemas), Kamaraj Salai, Puducherry,

M/s. Raja Talkies, Anna Salai, Puducherry, M/s. Rathnaa

Talkies, Puducherry, M/s. Murugaa Theatre, Puducherry

and Ashok Theatre A/c., Thillai Nagar, Villianur,

Puducherry- 605 110 have applied for grant of exemption

from certain provisions of the said Act to conduct

special morning shows at 8.00 a.m. and 9.30 a.m. from

1-10-2015 to 4-10-2015 on account of screening a new

Tamil film ‘Pulli’;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred

by section 6 of the said Act, the Secretary to Government,

Labour Department, Puducherry hereby exempts

M/s. Reliance Media Works (BIG Cinemas), Kamaraj

Salai, Puducherry, M/s. Raja Talkies, Anna Salai,

Puducherry, M/s. Rathnaa Talkies, Puducherry,

M/s. Murugaa Theatre, Puducherry and Ashok Theatre A/c.,

Villianur, Puducherry from the provisions of the

sections 16(1), 17(1), 17(2) and 18 of the Puducherry

Shops and Establishments Act, 1964 for conducting

special morning shows from 1-10-2015 to 4-10-2015 on

account of screening a new Tamil film ‘Pulli’, subject

to the following conditions:

1. Every person employed shall be paid overtime

wages for the period of work done by him in excess

of 8 hours in a week.

2. The total hours of work of each worker including

over time shall not exceed 10 hours including one hour

rest on any day or 5 hours in a week.

3. The management should obtain permission from

the authorities concerned wherever necessary.
