PUBLIC NOTICE

Whereas, in the G.O. Ms. No. 6/2014-Hg., dated 17th July, 2014 of the

Chief Secretariat [Housing], Government of Puducherry, sanction has been

accorded under section(1) of section 34 of the Puducherry Town and Country

Planning Act, 1969 (No. 13 of 1970), to review and to prepare a Comprehensive

Development Plan for the Puducherry Planning Area;

And whereas, an Existing Land Use Map and Register, 2015 for the

Puducherry Planning Area (entire Puducherry region) covering the areas within

the limits of Puducherry Municipality, Oulgaret Municipality and the areas within

the limits of Villianur Commune, Ariyankuppam Commune, Bahour Commune,

Mannadipet Commune and Nettapakkam Commune Panchayats, to an extent of

a total area of 293.77 sq.km. have been prepared by the Puducherry Planning

Authority;

Now, therefore, a public notice is hereby given pursuant to sub- section (1)

of section 18 of the Puducherry Town and Country Planning Act, 1969, that

the Existing Land Use Map and Register 2015 for the Puducherry Planning Area

will be kept for inspection during office hours between 10.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m.

on all working days in the Office of the Puducherry Planning Authority,

Puducherry. (Also refer in the official website: http://tcpd.puducherry.gov.in).

Any person who intends to make any objections/suggestions/representations

with respect to the Existing Land Use Map and Register 2015 may do so in

writing to the Member-Secretary, Puducherry Planning Authority, Jawahar Nagar,

Puducherry-605 005, within thirty days from the date of publication of this

public notice in the Official Gazette of Government of Puducherry.
