TENDER NOTICE
Sealed tenders offering the rate per kilogram
(exclusive of Sales tax/VAT) for each item of newspapers
are invited for the purchase of the following old
newspapers (Tamil and English) of this office as detailed
below:

2. Tenders superscribed as “Tender for the purchase
of old newspapers” should be addressed to the Senior
Accounts Officer, Co-operative Department, V.V.P. Nagar,
Thattanchavady, Puducherry-605 009 in a sealed cover
so as to reach this office on or before 26-11-2015 at
3.30 p.m. The received tenders will be opened on the
same day at 4.00 p.m. in the presence of those tenderers
or their representatives whoever present.
3. The intending tenderers should deposit a sum of
` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) in cash as earnest
money deposit along with the tender. The earnest
money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be
refunded immediately soon after the tender is over.
4. The old newspapers may be inspected during office
hours on any working day.
5. Tenders received after the due date and time
prescribed will summarily be rejected.
6. No claims on the quality and quantity of the article
will be admitted once the tender is finalized.
7. The successful tenderer should remove the
old newspapers at his own cost within 24 hours of
acceptance of his tender after remitting the total cost
of old newspapers and Sales tax/VAT thereon at the
prevailing rules. The successful tenderer should make
his own arrangement to weigh the old newspapers.

8. The undersigned reserves the right to accept/
reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason
thereof.
9. If the tender opening day happens to be a public
holiday, the same will be opened on the next working
day.

LAYER PULLETS
e-Tenders are invited for the supply of 18 Weeks
Layer Pullets on behalf of the President of India by the
Department of Animal Husbandry and Animal Welfare,
Puducherry for the Year 2015-16.
2. The bidders who quotes for the supply of 18
Weeks Layer Pullets must be breeder or poultry
breeding farmer or distributor.
3. The rates quoted must be valid for a period of one
year from the date fixed for opening the tenders.
4. The bidders with digital signature certificate
should submit their tender online only at the
Government website pudutenders.gov.in.
5. The tender details and terms and conditions may
also be downloaded from the website www.py.gov.in
and http://ahd.puducherry.gov.in for reference. Tenders
will be processed online only, hence, submission of
hardcopy alone will not be accepted.
