NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause 16 of

the Puducherry Essential Trade Articles (Regulation of

Trade) Order, 1989 notified vide G.O. Ms. No. 16, dated

11th September, 1989 of the Civil Supplies and Consumer

Affairs Department, Government of Puducherry and

published in No. 40, Part II of the Extraordinary Gazette

of Government of Puducherry, dated 19th October, 1989

and in accordance with the directions in S.O. 2642(E),

dated 28th September, 2015 and S.O.2857(E), dated

18th October, 2015 of the Department of Consumer

Affairs, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public

Distribution, Government of India, New Delhi, the

Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry is pleased to order in

the public interest that the quantity of pulses that may

be purchased, stored or sold or held in possession by

any dealer/trader or distributor at any one time and for

the said purpose is only 200 metric-tonnes, for a period

up to 30th September, 2016.

NOTIFICATION

The Lieutenant-Governor is pleased to enhance the

financial assistance granted to the Awardees of

Tamilmamani, Malayala Ratna, Telugu Ratna and

Puduvai Kalaimamani according to their age from

` 1,000 to ` 1,650, ` 2,200 and ` 3,250 under the

Scheme of Grant of Financial Assistance to the

Awardees of Tamilmamani, Malayala Ratna, Telugu Ratna

and Puduvai Kalaimamani in the Union territory of

Puducherry and for the said purpose hereby

makes further amendment to order, notified in

G.O. Ms. No. 85, dated 19-7-2006 of the Chief Secretariat

(Art and Culture) and published in the Extrordinary

Gazette of Puducherry, Part-I, No. 120, dated 21-7-2006

(hereinafter referred to as the said Scheme) as follows:

AMENDMENT

In paragraph 4 of the said Scheme, for the words,

figures and brackets, the following shall be substituted

namely:—

“4.Nature of Assistance:— Financial assistance

to the Awardees of Tamilmamani, Malayala Ratna,

Telugu Ratna/Puduvai Kalaimamani aged up to

59 shall be paid ` 1,650 (Rupees one thousand

six hundred and fifty only) per month, aged between

60 and 79 years shall be paid ` 2,200 (Rupees two

thousand two hundred only) per month and aged

80 years and above shall be paid ` 3,250 (Rupees

three thousand two hundred and fifty only) per month

from the month of May 2015”.

2. This notification shall come into force with

effect from 1-5-2015.

3. This issues with the concurrence of Finance

Department vide their U.O. No. 2651/F4/2015, dated

17-11-2015.

NOTIFICATION

In partial modification of the procedure adopted by

Home Department, Puducherry vide Notification issued

in G.O. Ms. No. 83, dated 27-11-2013 and published in

the Official Gazette No. 50, dated 10-12-2013 for

authentication of Educational documents and other

personal documents which are required to be produced

before the Government of India, Ministry of External

Affairs, New Delhi for Consular Legalization and Apostille

of documents for use abroad, the Lieutenant-Governor,

Puducherry is pleased to further amend the procedure

as follows:—

For the words and figures appearing in column (4)

of Sl. No. l, of the Table below in paragraph 2 (x) of the

‘Procedure for authentication of documents for use

outside India’ as specified in the G.O. Ms. No. 83, dated

27-11-2013 read above, the following words and figures

shall be substituted, namely:—
