TENDER NOTICE

1. Sealed tenders are invited by the undersigned

for the sale of various unserviceable articles in a lot

system, belonging to Indira Gandhi Government

General

Hospital

and

Postgraduate

Institute,

Puducherry in as is where is condition.

2. The intending tenderers may inspect the items

at this office and copies of the tender schedule can be

had in person on payment of ` 100 (Rupees one

hundred

only) plus Sales tax/VAT as admissible

(non-refundable) for the sale of above items during

office hours between 10.30 a.m and 12.30 p.m on

18-12-2015 and 21-12-2015 with the permission of the

officer concerned.

3. Sealed tenders in the prescribed tender form

addressed to the Medical Superintendent, Indira

Gandhi

Government

General

Hospital

and

Postgraduate Institute, Puducherry superscribing on

the envelope “Tender for purchase of unserviceable

articles” should reach this office from 21-12-2015 to

22-12-2015 between 10.30 a.m and 12.30 p.m. Each

tenderer should enclose a Demand Draft for ` 10,000

(Rupees ten thousand only) as earnest money deposit

drawn in favour of Junior Accounts Officer, Indira

Gandhi Government General Hospital and Postgraduate

Institute, Puducherry.

4. Tenders will be opened on 22-12-2015 by 4.00

p.m. at Indira Gandhi Government General Hospital

and Postgraduate Institute, Puducherry in the

presence of the tenderers who are present at the time

of opening.

5. If the highest tender amount offered by the bidder

is found to be not acceptable to the undersigned, the

public auction will be conducted on the spot keeping

the highest tender amount as minimum bid.

6. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers will be refunded only after finalization of the

tender by the competent authority.

7. The tenderer or his authorized agent(only one

person) may choose to be present at the time of

opening the tenders. Authorized person should bring

authorization letter as prescribed.

8. Acceptance of the tender will be intimated to

the successful tenderer after finalization of the

tender. Successful tenderer only be allowed to clear

the materials.

9. The successful tenderer should pay the total

cost of articles plus Sales tax/VAT thereon at the

prevailing rate immediately after conclusion of the

tender. The tenderers should quote their rates only,

exclusive of Sales tax/VAT which will be collected

extra.

10. The successful tenderer should make his own

arrangement to clear the articles from the premises as

early as possible. This office will not be in any way

held responsible for the safe custody or any loss of

the sold articles.

11. The undersigned reserves the right to reject

any or all tenders without assigning any reason

thereof and the decision of the undersigned in this

regard will be final and binding on all the tenders.

12. All the tenderers are deemed to have read and

accept all the terms and conditions therein mentioned.
