Puducherry, the 4th February 2016.

AUCTION NOTICE

1. Public are hereby informed that the unserviceable

articles such as clothing items, furniture, electrical

items, iron materials, cooking vessels, batteries,

computer and printers, etc., pertaining to this

Department will be sold in Public Auction in as-is-where-

is condition on 25-2-2016 at 11.00 a.m. in the premises

of the Chief Stores, Police Department, Gorimedu,

Puducherry-605 006.

2. The intending bidders should deposit an amount

of ` 800 (Rupees eight hundred only) towards earnest

money deposit by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour

of the Superintendent of Police (HQ), Puducherry and

get receipt from the Chief Stores, Gorimedu, Puducherry.

3. The auction will be knocked down in favour of the

highest bidder.

4. Earnest money deposit will be returned immediately

to the unsuccessful bidders after the auction is over.

5. The officer, who conducts the auction, reserves

every right to accept or reject any bid without assigning

any reasons thereof.

6. The successful bidder should pay the entire

amount immediately after confirmation of the auction or

before removal of the auctioned items.

7. The auctioned articles should be removed within

24 hours from the conclusion of auction at his own

expenses with the permission of the officer conducting

the auction. This Department will not be responsible for

the safe custody of the auctioned articles till they are

removed from the spot once the auction is confirmed.

8. The intending bidders may inspect the condemned

articles at any time during office hours in the campus

of the Chief Stores, Gorimedu with the prior permission

of the undersigned.

9. Sales tax will be collected extra as per the rate in

force at the time of auction.

10. In this regard, the decision of the undersigned

will be the final.
