In terms of section 6(2) of the Sexual Harassment of

Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and

Redressal) Act, 2013, the District Collector-cum-District

Chairperson shall designate the following officers as

Nodal Officer in Karaikal Taluk and Thirunallar Taluk in

rural areas to receive complaints and forward the same

to the concerned Local Complaints Committee within a

period of seven days.

3. Report of the Deputy Collector (Revenue) North, Puducherry vide Lr. No. 3174/DC(R)N/A5/

2015/3240, dated 26-10-2015.

Whereas, an application, dated 20-4-2015 was received from Thiru J. Manish Kumar Sethi, Sethi Bankers,

No. 290, Kosakadai Street, Puducherry requesting the permission of the District Magistrate to sell unredeemed and

time barred articles in public auction.

2. And whereas, the Deputy Collector (Revenue) North, Puducherry has been requested to verify the list

of unredeemed and time barred articles physically and ascertained that they remain unredeemed after the time allowed

for redemption and hence, the list submitted by the Pawn Broker was forwarded to the Deputy Collector (Revenue)

North, Puducherry for causing physical verification of the unredeemed and time barred articles mentioned by

the Pawn Broker for auctioning.

3. And whereas, the Deputy Collector (Revenue) North, Puducherry has furnished the report, wherein, it is

informed that the Tahsildar, Taluk Office, Puducherry had conducted physical verification of the articles that are

unredeemed and time barred, pledged with Thiru J. Manish Kumar Sethi, Sethi Bankers. No. 290, Kosakadai Street,

Puducherry and reported that the articles mentioned in the petition remained unredeemed past the time allowed and

the articles are kept in the licensed premises itself, except the five items bearing catalogue No. 151, 183, 186, 187 and

215 of the list, which were redeemed.

4. And whereas, the rule 12 of the Puducherry Pawn Brokers Rules, 1966 prescribes procedure in auction of pledges.

Now, therefore, Thiru B.Karthikeyan, Thirupathiripuliyur the authorised auctioneer is permitted to conduct

the sale of unredeemed and time barred articles, pledges as shown in the list enclosed and available with the Pawn

Broker Thiru J. Manish Kumar Sethi, Sethi Bankers, No. 290, Kosakadai Street, Puducherry in public auction in the

licensed premises of the Pawn Broker at the above address, as per the list approved and sent to the Pawn Broker

and the Auctioneer, except catalogue No. 151, 183, 186, 187 and 215 of the list, which were redeemed. The Pawn Broker/

Auctioneer shall observe the above formalities detailed as required under the rules framed under the Puducherry

Pawn Brokers Act, 1966, before conducting the sale of time barred and unredeemed pledged articles in the public

auction.

Whereas, an order was made, vide reference cited,

under sub-section (1) of section 126 of the Puducherry

Co-operative Societies Act, 1972, directing the

wind ing up of the affairs o f the Pondicherry

Co-operative Textile Processing Society Limited

No. P. 716;

And whereas, the financing bank

viz.,

the

Pondicherry State Co-operative Bank Limited was

consulted in the matter of appointment of a Liquidator,

as required under section 127 of the said Act;

And whereas, the Pondicherry State Co-operative

Bank has stated that it has no objection for the

appointment of the Liquidator for the said Society;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred

on me under sub-section (1) of section 127 of the

Puducherry Co-operative Societies Act, 1972. I hereby

appoint Thiru R. Rangababu, Co-operative Officer,

as the Liquidator for the purpose of winding up of the

said Society;

Thiru R. Rangababu, Co-operative Officer/Liquidator,

shall take into his custody all the properties, effects

and actionable claims to which the said Society is or

appears to be entitled and complete the liquidation

proceedings as per law.

having reported for duty on the forenoon of 11-12-2015

in pursuance of the Order No. 14020/05/2015, UTS-I,

dated 10-12-2015 of the Ministry of Home Affairs,

New Delhi is appointed as Secretary to Government

and allocated the subjects “Fisheries, Sainik Welfare

and Freedom Fighters Cell”.

(ii) Shri B.R. Babu, I.A.S., (AGMU:2002), Secretary

to Government (Welfare) shall, in addition to the

subjects/departments already being held by him, hold

charge of the subjects “Hindu Religious Institutions

and Wakf”.

(iii) Shri P.S. Reddy, I.A.S., (AGMU:2004), Secretary

to Government is allotted the subjects “Personnel

and General Administration Department” in addition

to Industries and Commerce.

(iv) Dr. S. Sundaravadivelu, I.A.S., (AGMU:2004),

is posted as “District Collector, Puducherry-cum-

Special Secretary (Revenue)”.

(v) Shri D. Manikandan, I.A.S., (AGMU:2010),

Secretary to Government is allotted the subjects

“Information Technology, Economics and Statistics,

Stationery and Printing, and Fire Service”.

(vi) Shri T. Karikalan, Special Secretary to Government

is posted as “District Collector, Karaikal”. He shall

continue to hold additional charge of the post of

(vii) Shri R. Kesavan, I.A.S., (AGMU:2013) on having

reported for duty on the forenoon of 11-12-2015 in

pursuance of the Order No. 14020/01/2015, UTS-I

(Part-I), dated 24-7-2015 of the Ministry of Home

Inviting applications for carrying out repairs to

Government Vehicles by Private Workshops/

Authorised dealers

Applications are invited from private workshops/

authorised dealers/service centres to carry out various

repairs of vehicles belonging to Government Departments

of Puducherry, Karaikal, Mahe and Yanam afresh for

enlisting as recognised workshop for undertaking

repairs/job works of Government vehicles, as

categorised below:

Types of workshops to be selected:

1. Major repair workshop (including overhauling,

body patch work, tinkering, painting, electrical and

upholstery).

2. Minor repair workshop.

3. Patch work. tinkering and painting workshop.

4. Electrical repair workshop.

5. Upholstery repair workshop.

6. Servicing workshop.

The applications can be downloaded from the

department website: www.transport.puducherry.gov.in.

from 11-2-2016 to 22-2-2016 at 5.00 p.m.

The filled in applications alongwith necessary

enclosures as prescribed in the application and a Demand

Draft for ` 250 (Rupees two hundred-fifty) as application

fee drawn from State Bank of India, Payable at Puducherry,

in favour of Drawing and Disbursing Officer, Government

Automobile Workshop, Puducherry should reach the

Executive Engineer, Government Automobile Workshop,

Saram, Puducherry on or before 22-2-2016 at 5.45 p.m.

Those who have already submitted the applications

shall also to apply again now. However, they are exempted

from paying the amount of application fee again. The

details of the fees may be indicated along with relevant

photocopies duly attested.
