MEMORANDUM

On the recommendations of the Union Public Service

Commission, New Delhi vide Letter No. F.No. F.1/6 (2)/

2015-AP-4, dated 27-1-2016 received from the Under

Secretary, UPSC, New Delhi, the following Deputy

Directors, holding the post of Joint Directors on ad hoc

basis are promoted and appointed to officiate as Joint

Director on regular basis in the Planning and Research

Department, Government of Puducherry with immediate

effect:

2. The above officers will continue their duty in their

respective places where they are presently working and

will draw pay in the Pay Band-3 of ` 15,600 - ` 39,100 +

Grade Pay of

` 5,400 with usual allowances as

admissible as per rules in force from time to time.

3. They will be placed on probation for a period of

two years from the date of appointment.

TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders offering the rate per items

(excluding Sales tax) are invited by the undersigned

for the sale of following condemned/unserviceable

items/dead stock articles in as-is-where-is condition

belonging to the office of the Executive Engineer,

Buildings and Roads (South) Division, Public Works

Department, Uppalam Road (opposite to water tank),

Puducherry.

2. Sealed tenders should be addressed to the

Executive Engineer, Buildings and Roads (South)

Division, Public Works Department, Puducherry, duly

superscribed on the envelope as “tenders for the

purchase of condemned and unserviceable articles”

in as-is-where-is condition and should reach this

office on or before 2-3-2016 at 1.00 p.m. The tenders

will be opened at 4.00 p.m. on the same day by the

undersigned (or) authorised officers in the presence

of the tenderers in the office of the undersigned.

The highest tender amount quoted tenderer will be

considered as successful tenderer. If the last date falls

on holiday the next working day will be the date for

the tender sale.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit a sum

of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) as earnest money

deposit in cash in the Office of the Executive

Engineer, Buildings and Roads (South) Division,

Public Works Department, Puducherry on the date of

auction.

4. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers will be refunded immediately after the

tender is over.

5. Tenders received after the due date and time

will be rejected.

6. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any or all the tenders in part or whole without

assigning any reasons thereof.

7. The successful tenderer should pay the full

amount including Sales tax immediately and clear the

items within 24 hours at his own risk and cost, failing

which the deposit amount will be forfeited.

8. No claim about the quantity and quality of the

articles will be admitted after the tender is finalised.

Sales tax will be charged extra as per rates applicable

at the time of auction.

9. If the successful tenderer not pay the full

amount including Sales tax within the specified time,

tender will be passed on to the next highest tenderer.

10. The intending tenderers can inspect the

unserviceable items in this office from 10.00 a.m. to

1.00 p.m. on 2-3-2016.

11. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be the final.

TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited by the undersigned for the

sale of unserviceable/condenmed furniture and dead

stock articles in-as-is-where-is condition, belonging to

the Directorate of Accounts and Treasuries (Branch),

Mahe as shown in the Annexure.

2. Tender covers should be superscribed as “Tender

for unserviceable articles/condemned materials”.

Tenders sho uld reach this o ffice on o r before

29-2-2016 at 2.00 p.m. The tenders will be opened by

the undersinged on the same day at 3.00 p.m. in the

presence of the tenderers. The highest tenderer will

be considered as successful tenderer. If the tender date

falls on holiday, the next working day will be the date

for the tender sale. Each tenderer should deposit a sum

of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) as earnest money

deposit in cash to the Office of the Deputy Director,

Accounts and Treasuries, Mahe. The earnest money

deposit will be refunded to the unsuccessful tenderers

on the same day.

3. Tenders received after the due date and time will

summarily be rejected. Tenders received without earnest

money deposit will be rejected.

4. The successful tenderer should remit the full

amount in cash with Sales tax as applicable in this office

as per rules and clear the items within 24 hours at his

own cost.

5. The intending

tenderers can

inspect the

unserviceable/condemned articles at this office

from 9.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. on 25-2-2016.

6. The undersigned reserves the full right to accept

or reject any or all the tenders without assigning any

reasons thereof and the decision of the undersigned in

this regard will be the final.
