NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 21 of Cr.P.C. read with
section 32 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974),
the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, hereby appoints the officers mentioned under
column (2) of the Table in the Annexure as Special Executive Magistrates on
15-5-2016 (Pre-Poll Day), 16-5-2016 (Poll Day) and 19-5-2016 (Counting day) in
connection with the General Elections to Puducherry Legislative Assembly, 2016 in
respect of the area mentioned against the corresponding entry under column (4) of
the said Table and confers on them all the powers as an Executive Magistrate under
the said Code.
