NOTIFICATION
Whereas, orders were issued in pursuance of sub-section (3) of section 3
of the National Security Act, 1980 (Central Act 65 of 1980), directing that
the District Magistrate, Puducherry and Karaikal may also, if satisfied as provided
in sub-section (2) of the said section, exercise the powers conferred by the said
sub-section for a period of three months from 28th January, 2016 in the Home
Department’s Notification issued in G.O. Ms. No. 3, dated 25th January, 2016;
2. And whereas, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry having regard
to the circumstances prevailing in the Union territory of Puducherry is satisfied
that it is necessary to extend the said period by three months from 28th April,2016;
