10-2-2016 of Chief Secretariat (Animal
Husbandry), Puducherry.
Whereas, Dr. A. Perumal Mohan, Veterinary Assistant
Surgeon, who was on probation for a period of 2 years
was permitted to proceed to New Zealand to accompany
his wife in connection with her higher studies, subject
to the conditions that he should not seek or secure any
employment there during his visit abroad and should
return back to the country within the sanctioned period
of leave and to assume charge of his post of duty.
And whereas, Dr. A. Perumal Mohan, Veterinary
Assistant Surgeon was granted EOL without Medical
Certificate from 22-1-2008 to 30-4-2008 and was relieved
of his duties from the afternoon of 21-1-2008.
And whereas, the said officer thereafter has not
reported for duty on the request made by the Department
and subsequently extended the leave and then
submitted his resignation on 19-7-2011 and then
withdrew the resignation on 18-10-2011.
And whereas, the Administrative Department has
strictly instructed the said officer to join duty
immediately vide Memoranda of even Numbers, dated
5-2-2009, 9-4-2009, 22-2-2013 and 27-8-2014.
And whereas, Dr. A. Perumal Mohan has not reported for
duty and played dilatory tactics in violating the rules and failed
to join duty, instead of repeated instructions by the authority.
And whereas, the said officer wantonly remains
absent unauthorisedly for more than 7 years with effect
from 1-5-2008 and whereas, his unauthorised absence
for such a long period is totally against the ambit of
the rules in force.
And whereas, the notice under rules 5 (1) of the
Temporary Service Rules, dated 10-2-2016 was issued,
to the said officer stating that his services will be
terminated after a period of one month which expires
on 10-3-2016.
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the proviso to
sub-rule (1) of rule 5 of the Central Civil Services
(Temporary Service) Rules, 1965, the services of
Dr. A. Perumal Mohan, Veterinary Assistant Surgeon,
Department of Animal Husbandry and Animal Welfare,
Puducherry is hereby terminated with effect from 1-5-2008.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE
Sealed tenders offering the rates are invited for
sale of old/unserviceable/obsolete laboratory articles/
instruments/apparatus/equipments/furnitures
as
detailed in the Annexure belonging to the Department
of Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Office of
the Kanchi Mamunivar Centre for Postgraduate
Studies, Puducherry in as-is-where-is condition.
2. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the
Director, Kanchi Mamunivar Centre for Postgraduate
Studies, Puducherry duly superscribing on the
envelope as “tender for the purchase of old/
unserviceable/obsolete laboratory articles/instruments/
apparatus/equipments/furnitures” and sent to the
undersigned and reach on or before 25-5-2016 at
11.00 a.m. The tenders will be opened at 12.00 noon
on the same day in the presence of tenderers if any,
in the Office of the Director, Kanchi Mamunivar
Centre for Postgraduate Studies, Puducherry. In the

highest tender amount quoted will be taken as
preliminary amount for public
auction, the
unserviceable articles will be disposed of on par to the
upset price fixed by the Government. If the day for
opening the tenders happens to be a public holiday
for any reason, the tenders will be received and
opened by the same time on the next working day.
3. The intending tenderers should deposit an
amount of `1,500 (Rupees one thousand five hundred
only) as earnest money deposit.
4. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful
tenderers will be refunded immediately after the
tender sale is over.
5. Tenders received after the due date and time will
be rejected.
6. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or
reject any or all the tenders without assigning any
reason thereof.
7. The successful tenderer should pay the full
amount including Sales tax/VAT immediately and clear
the items within 24 hours at his own risk and cost,
failing which the earnest money deposit will be
forfeited.
8. No claim about the quantity and quality of the
articles will admitted once the tender is finalised.
9. The intending tenderers can inspect the articles
during the office hours in Kanchi Mamunivar Centre
for Postgraduate Studies, Puducherry in all working
days from 17-5-2015 onwards.
10. In case of any dispute, the decision of the
undersigned will be the final.
11. Sales Tax/VAT will be collected as per
prevailing rules.
