GENERAL NOTICE
Whereas, I, A.K. Gawas, I.P.S., Senior Superintendent of Police, Karaikal,
having satisfied that there is likelihood of breach of peace in Karaikal District, owing
to the proposed agitations/demonstrations by various political parties/organisations/
associations, which may likely to cause dislocation to traffic, danger to the
community and damages/loss to private and public properties and also disturbance
to public order.
Now, therefore, I, A.K. Gawas, I.P.S., Senior Superintendent of Police, Karaikal,
in exercise of the powers conferred on me by virtue of section 30 (2) of the Police
Act (Act V of 1861), do hereby impose the Regulatory Order, duly promulgated
under section 30 (2) of the Police Act (Act V of 1861) in Karaikal District for
a period of 15 days from 14-5-2016 to 28-5-2016 (both days inclusive) as follows:
