NOTIFICATION

The following Order of the Lieutenant-Governor, dated 6th June, 2016 is published for general information:—

“ORDER

No. 1-24/2016-LGS.— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 11 of the Government of Union

Territories Act, 1963, (Act No. 20 of 1963), I, Dr. Kiran Bedi, Lieutenant-Governor of Puducherry, hereby appoints

Thiru V.P. Sivakolundhu, until the Speaker is chosen by the Puducherry Legislative Assembly and thereafter,

the Speaker, the Deputy Speaker and any of the Presiding Members shall act as the persons before whom the oath

or affirmation may be made by the Members of the Puducherry Legislative Assembly under the said section.
