2. The approximate quantity of the old newspapers
and magazines are furnished below.

3. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the
Principal, Tagore Arts College, Puducherry, duly
superscribing on the envelope as “Tender for the
purchase of old newspapers and magazines”. The
sealed tenders will be received by this office upto
11.00 a.m. on 22-6-2016. The tenders will be opened at
11.30 a.m. on the same day by the undersigned. If the
day for opening the tenders happens to be a public
holiday for any reason, the tenders will be received
and opened by the same time on the next working day.
4. The intending tenderers should deposit an
amount of
` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) as
earnest money deposit.
5. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful
tenderers will be refunded immediately after the
tender is over.
6. Tenders received after the due date and time will
be rejected.
7. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or
reject any or all tenders without assigning any
reasons thereof.
8. The successful tenderer should remit the full
amount immediately and clear the items within 24
hours at his own risk and cost, failing which he will
forefeit his earnest money deposit.
9. No claim on the quantity and quality of the
articles will be admitted once the tender is finalised.
10. Sales tax at the rate applicable will be charged.
11. The intending tenderers can inspect the
articles during the office hours in the library of this
institution.
12. In case of any dispute, the decision of the
Principal, Tagore Arts College, Puducherry will be the
final.

NOTICE INVITING e-TENDERS FOR THE SUPPLY
OF PAPER/BOARD ITEMS FOR THE YEAR 2016-17
‘e-Tenders’ are invited on behalf of the President of
India by the Director of Stationery and Printing,
Puducherry for centralised purchase of paper/board
items for use in the Directorate of Stationery and
Printing, Puducherry for the year 2016-17 through
e-procurement system. Tend er ers s ho ul d s ub mi t
their tend er o nline at the Government website:
http://pudutenders.gov.in. The tender details, terms
and conditions and time schedule may also be
downloaded from the website: http://www.py.gov.in
and http://styandptg.puducherry.gov.in for reference
only. The tenders will be processed online only and
hence, hardcopy submission will not be accepted.
The last date for submission of tender fee, earnest
money deposit and samples at the Department is
6-7-2016 at 4.00 p.m. and last date for submission of
both Technical and Financial Tenders online is 7-7-2016
at 4.00 p.m.

AUCTION NOTICE
Sealed tenders offering the rate per kilogram
(including sales tax) are invited for the purchase of
old Tamil and English newspapers and magazines
belonging to the Library from 1-4-2015 to 31-3-2016.

Principal, Arignar Anna Government Arts and Science
College, Karaikal duly superscribed on the envelope
as “Tender for purchase of old newspapers and
magazines” and to reach this office on or before 23-6-2016
at 11.00 a.m. Tenders will be opened at 11.00 a.m. on
the same day in the presence of the tenderers at the
Office of the Principal, Arignar Anna Government Arts
and Science College, Karaikal.
The intending tenderers should deposit an amount
of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) as earnest money
deposit. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful
tenderers will be refunded immediately after the tender
sale is over. Tenders received after the due date and time
will be rejected.
The undersigned reserves the right to accept or
reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason
thereof. The old newspapers and magazines will be
weighed by the electronic weighing-machine available
in the College.
The successful tenderer should pay the full
amount immediately and clear the items within
24 hours at his own cost and risk, failing which the
earnest money deposit will be forfeited. No claim on
the quantity and quality of the articles will be
admitted once the tender is finalised.
Sales tax at the rate applicable will be charged.
The intending tenderers can inspect the articles
on all working days during the library hours. In case
of any dispute, the decision of the Principal,
Arignar Anna Government Arts and Science College,
Karaikal will be the final.
