CORRIGENDUM

The content at para 2 mentioned in the G.O. Ms. No. 3/PRD/2015, dated 6-7-2015 of Planning and

Research Department, Puducherry shall be corrected to be read as follows:

2. Subsequently, suitable amendments shall be made in the relevant Recruitment Rules.

3. This issues with the concurrence of Finance Department vide I.D. Note No. 272/FD/F3/16,

dated 27-6-2016.

Accordingly, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry

is pleased to accord approval to the merger of two

posts namely, Planning Officer and Deputy Director

having the identical Pay Scale in the Pay Band of

` 9,300 - 34,800 with Grade Pay of ` 4,600 into

single entity as Deputy Director (Group ‘B’ –

Gazetted) in the Pay Band of ` 9,300 - 34,800 with

Grade Pay of ` 4,600 with immediate effect.

Accordingly, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry

is pleased to accord approval to the merger of two

posts namely, Planning Officer and Deputy Director

having the identical Pay Scale in the Pay Band of

` 9,300 - 34,800 with Grade Pay of ` 4,600 into single

entity as Deputy Director (Group ‘B’ – Gazetted) in

the Pay Band of ` 9,300 - 34,800 with Grade Pay

of ` 4,600 with immediate effect from 1-1-2006.

ADDENDUM

The following content shall be added in para 2 of the

G.O. Ms. No. 3/PRD/2015, dated 6-7-2015 of the

Planning and Research Department :

“This merger will also be applicable to the

ex-cadre posts of three Planning Officers existing one

each in the Public Works Department, Directorate of

School Education and Directorate of Information and

Technology and the same shall also be re-designated

as Deputy Director (Group 'B' – Gazetted) in the

Pay Band-2 of ` 9,300 - 34,800 with Grade Pay

of ` 4,600”
