The availability of plots/sheds shall be notified by

Directorate of Industries and Commerce in the Official

Gazette and website. The above Committee shall

scrutinise the applications received from the

entrepreneurs and recommend for the allotment of

plots/sheds to the Director of Industries and Commerce

for issuing the allotment orders.

The Committee will meet as and when the necessity

arises.

TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited for the disposal of waste

papers torn into pieces and packed in the gunny bags

in the stores of this Department. Rate should be quoted

as follows:

2. Tenders in sealed covers superscribed as “Tender

for the purchase of Waste Papers” to be addressed to

the Commissioner (Commercial Taxes), 100 Feet Road,

Ellaipillaichavady, Puducherry-605 005 should be sent

to this office on or before 8-8-2016 at 1.00 p.m.

The received tenders will be opened on the same day

at 3.00 p.m. in the presence of the tenderers or their

representatives those who are present.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit a sum of

`500 (Rupees Five hundred only) in cash as earnest

money deposit (EMD) along with the tender up to

1.00. p.m. on 8-8-2016. The earnest money deposit of

the unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded immediately

soon after the tender is over.

4. The waste papers may be inspected during the

office hours on any working day.

5. Tenders received after the due date and time

prescribed will summarily be rejected.

6. No claims on the quality and quantity of the

articles will be admitted once the tender is finalized.

7. The successful tenderer should remove the

waste papers at his own cost within 24 hours of

acceptance of his tender after remitting the total cost

of waste papers and Sales tax thereon at the prevailing

rules. Waste papers shall be weighed in the presence

of the official of this department after verifying the

contents in the bags.

8. The undersigned reserves the right to accept,

reject or postpone the sales without assigning any

reason thereof.

9. If the tender opening day happens to be a public

holiday, the same will be opened on the next working day.
