Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred

by section 6 of the said Act, the Secretary to

Government, Labour Department, Puducherry hereby

exempts (i) M/s. Balaji Theatre, No. 118, Kamaraj Salai,

Puducherry, (ii) M/s. Muruga Theatre, Thattanchavadi,

Puducherry, (iii) M/s. Raja Talkies, No. 246, Anna Salai,

Puducherry, (iv) M/s. Cinema Ventures Private Limited,

Jeeva & Rukmani, No. 65, Kamaraj Salai, Puducherry,

(v) M/s. Rathnaa Talkees, Puducherry and (vi) M/s. Ashok

Theatre, Villianur, Puducherry from the provisions of

the sections 16(1), 17(1), 17(2) and 18 of the

Pondicherry Shops and Establishments Act, 1964 for

conducting special morning shows from 22-7-2016 to

31-7-2016 on account of screening a new Tamil film

‘Kabali’, subject to the following conditions:

1. Every person employed shall be paid overtime

wages for the period of work done by him in excess

of 8 hours in a week.

2. The total hours of work of each worker

including over time shall not exceed 10 hours

including one hour rest on any day or 5 hours in a

week.

3. The management should obtain permission

from the authorities concerned, wherever necessary.
