TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE
Sealed tenders are invited for the sale of the following
materials which are lying in the premises of the ESI
Hospital, Gorimedu, Puducherry to be disposed off by
public auction.

2. The tenders in sealed covers superscribing as
“Tender for purchase of the Hypo Solution, X-Ray
films, newspapers and empty gunny bags” should
be addressed to the Medical Superintendent, ESI
Hospital, Gorimedu, Puducherry and sent to this
office on or before 24-8-2016 at 11.30 a.m. The
tenders will be opened on the same day at 11.45 a.m.
in the presence of the tenderers present at that time.
If the day of opening the tender happens to be a
public holiday for any reason, the tenders will be
received and opened by the same time on the next
working day.
3. Based on the highest quotings on the sealed
tenders, open auction will be conducted at 11.50 a.m.
on 24-8-2016.
4. The intending tenderers should deposit an
amount of
` 3,000 (Rupees three thousand only) in
cash as earnest money deposit with this office while
submitting the tenders.
5. The earnest money deposit of unsuccessful
tenderers will be refunded immediately after the
tender is finalized.
6. Tenders received after the due date and time
will summarily be rejected.
7. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or
reject any tender without assigning any reason thereof.

8. The successful bidder should pay the full
amount of bid immediately and should remove the
condemned articles within 24 hours at his own risk
and expenses.
9. Sales tax at the rate applicable will be collected
extra.
10. The materials can be inspected during office
hours on any working day in this office.
11. No claim about the quantity/quality and value of
the items will be entertained after opening the tenders.
12. In case of any dispute, the decision of the
undersigned will be the final.

per empty oil barrels (Metal) available in the Office of
the Government Automobile Workshop, Saram, Puducherry
mentioned below for sale by the undersigned in as-is-
where-is condition.

Terms and conditions
1. The tenders should be addressed to the Junior
Accounts Officer, Government Automobile Workshop,
Saram, Puducherry superscribing as “Tender for the sale
of old empty oil barrels (metal)” so as to reach the
undersigned on or before 17-8-2016 at 11.00 a.m.
The tenders will be opened on the same day at 11.30 a.m.
If the tender opening day happens to be a public
holiday, the same will be opened on the next working day.
Any incomplete tender received is liable for rejection.
2. Tenders received after the due date and time will
summarily be rejected.
3. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount
of ` 4,000 (Rupees four thousand only) as earnest
money deposit before submission of tender.
4. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful
tenderers will be refunded after the tender is over/
finalized.
5. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or
reject any tender or all the tender without assigning any
reason thereof. The decision of the undersigned will be
the final in case of any dispute.
6. The successful tenderer should pay the entire
amount immediately and clear all the articles within
24 hours at his own risk and cost, failing which the
earnest money deposit will be forfeited.
7. No claim about the quantity, quality and value of
the old empty barrels (metal) will be admitted once the
tender is finalized.
8. The intending tenderers can inspect the old empty
oil barrels from 11-8-2016 to 12-8-2016 at Government
Automobile Workshop, Saram, Puducherry with the
permission of the Storekeeper (POL) concerned.
9. The sale will be effected only to the highest
bidder.
10. If the amount of highest bidder found to be
lower than the upset price, the public auction will be
commenced.
11. The Government in no way is held responsible
for the safe custody of the articles once the auction is
confirmed.
12. The Sales tax as per the rate in force will be
charged extra on the amount finalized.

articles belonging to the Mother Theresa Postgraduate
and Research Institute of Health Sciences, Indira Nagar,
Gorimedu, Puducherry, in as-is-where-is condition
by tender-cum-public auction on 22-8-2016 at
the Mother Theresa Postgraduate and Research
Institute of Health Sciences, Indira Nagar, Gorimedu,
Puducherry-605 006.
Terms and conditions
1. The sealed tenders should be addressed to
The Dean, Mother Theresa Postgraduate and Research
Institute of Health Sciences, Indira Nagar, Gorimedu,
Puducherry duly superscribed on the envelope as
“Tender for purchase of condemned articles” and reach
the undersigned on or before 22-8-2016 at 3.30 p.m.
The tenders will be opened at 4.00 p.m. on the same
day in the presence of the tenderers if any, in the
Mother Theresa Postgraduate and Research Institute of
Health Sciences, Indira Nagar, Gorimedu, Puducherry.
2. The highest rate quoted will be treated as
minimum upset price and then the public auction will
be started immediately.
3. The intending tenderers should pay the earnest
money deposit of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) in
cash with the office of the undersigned before the
commencement of the auction. The earnest money
deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded
immediately after the tender sale is over.
4. The successful tenderer should pay the entire
amount soon after the auction is over and clear the
auctioned articles at his own cost before 5.30 p.m. on
the same day, failing which the office will not be held
responsible either for safe custody or for loss or
damage of the articles once the auction sale is over.
5. Sales tax will be charged extra as per the rate
applicable at the time of auction for the bid amount.
6. No claim on the quantity and quality of the
articles will be admitted once the auction sale is over.
7. The intending tenderers can inspect the
articles during the office hours in the premises of
Mother Theresa Postgraduate and Research Institute
of Health Sciences, Indira Nagar, Gorimedu, Puducherry
on all working days.
8. The tenders received after the due date and time
will be rejected.
9. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or
reject any tender/bid without assigning any reason
thereof. If the tender date falls on any holiday the next
working day will be the date of tender sale.
10. In case of any dispute, the decision of the
undersigned will be the final.
