TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE
Sealed tenders offering the rates per item (excluding
Sales tax) are invited for the sale of condemned
old, obsolete and unserviceable articles belonging to
this office as detailed in the Annexure.
2. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the
Emp lo yment Officer, Emp lo yment Exc hang e ,
Vazhudhavur Road, Gandhi Nagar, Puducherry-605 009,
duly superscribing on the envelope as “Tender for
purchase of condemned old, obsolete and unserviceable
articles” and should reach the undersigned on or before
15-9-2016 at 3.00 p.m. The tenders will be opened at
4.00 p.m. on the same day in the presence of the
attending tenderers and then public auction will be
started.
3. The intending tenderers should pay an amount of
` 2,000 (Rupees two thousand only) as earnest money
deposit in cash and it will be refunded to the
unsuccessful tenderers after the acceptance of the
highest bid is over. Tenders without earnest money
deposit will not be taken into consideration. Tenders
received after the due date and time will be rejected.
4. The successful tenderers should pay the full
amount immediately and clear the items within 24 hours
at his own risk and expenses.
5. The intending tenderers can inspect the articles
during the office hours on all working days from
24-8-2016 to 14-9-2016.
6. Sales tax will be collected extra as per the rate
applicable.
7. In case of any dispute, the decision of the
undersigned will be the final.
8. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or
reject any or all tenders in full or in part without
assigning any reason thereof.

hours on any working day between 3.00 p.m. and 4.00
p.m. The interested tenderers should deposit the earnest
money deposit of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) by
cash to the Cashier of this office and the receipt shall
be enclosed along with the closed tender.
3. The successful tenderer should pay the total value
of the unserviceable and condemned articles
immediately and should be removed at his own
expenses immediately.
4. This office could not be held responsible for any
loss or damages of the materials, once the tender is
finalized.
5. The tenders received after the due date and time
will summarily be rejected.
6. The earnest money deposit collected from the
unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded after the tender
is over .
7. Sales tax will be collected extra as per rate
applicable.
8. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any
