Festival i.e., Saturday, the 15th October, 2016, which

was notified vide G.O. Ms. No. 72, dated 27-10-2015

of Home Department, Puducherry is deleted.

Terms and conditions

1. The tenders should be addressed to the Vice-Principal,

K.Q.M. Government Higher Secondary School,

Sulthanpet, Puducherry, superscribing as “Tender for

the purchase of old/unserviceable furniture and dead

stock items” so as to reach the undersigned on or before

21-9-2016 at 3.00 p.m.

2. Tenders received after the due date and time will

summarily be rejected.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit an

amount of ` 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only) as

earnest money deposit before submission of tender.

4. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers will be refunded after the tender sale is over/

finalized.

5. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any tender or all the tenders without assigning

any reason thereof. The decision of the undersigned is

final in case of any dispute.

6. The successful tenderer should pay the entire

amount immediately and clear all the articles within

24 hours at his own risk and cost, failing which the

earnest money deposit will be forfeited.

7. No claim about the quantity, quality and value

of the unserviceable furniture and deadstock items will

be admitted once the tender is finalised.

8. The intending tenderers can inspect the furniture

and deadstock items during the office hours on any

working day in K.Q.M. Government Higher Secondary

School, Sulthanpet, Puducherry with the permission of

the Storekeeper between 10.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m..

9. The sale will be effected only to the highest rate

quoted bidder.

10. The Government in no way is held responsible

for the safe custody of the articles once the auction is

confirmed.

11. The Sales tax as per the rate in force will be

charged extra on the amount finalized.

12. The tender will be opened on 22-9-2016. If, the

tender opening day happens to be a public holiday, the

same will be opened on the next working day. Any

incomplete tender received is liable for rejection.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited for the sale of old condemned

furniture items of the Government Middle School and

Office of the Deputy Director of Education (Women)

under the control of the Deputy Director of Education

(Women) in as-is-where-is condition.

1. Office of the Deputy Director of Education

(Women), Store Section, Education Department,

Puducherry.

2. Government Girls’ Middle School, Villianur,

Puducherry.

3. Government Middle School, Pudupalayam,

Puducherry.

4. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Government Middle School,

Pitchaiveeranpet, Puducherry.

5. Mahatma Gandhi Government Middle School,

Nellithope, Puducherry.

6. Government Boys’ Middle School, Delarshpet,

Puducherry.

2. The tenders in plain paper should be sealed and

addressed to the Deputy Director of Education (Women),

Directorate of School Education, Puducherry duly

superscribing on the envelope as “Tender for the auction

sale of old condemned furniture items” and sent to reach

the undersigned on or before 6-10-2016 at 3.00 p.m.

The tenders will be opened on the same day at 4.00 p.m.

in the presence of the tenderers who are present. The rates

for each School should be quoted separately in one cover.

The auction will be conducted from the highest rate

quoted.

3. The tender will be opened on 6-10-2016 at 4.00 p.m.

If the tender opening day happens to be a public holiday,

the same will be opened on the next working day.

4. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount

of ` 3,000 (Rupees three thousand only) as earnest

money deposit. The earnest money deposit of the

unsuccessful tenderers will be returned immediately after

the tender sale is over.

5. Tenders received after the due date and time will

summarily be rejected.

6. The successful tenderer should pay the entire

amount and clear the items within 24 hours at their own

risk and cost, failing which the earnest money deposit

will be forfeited.

7. The intending tenderers may inspect the

condemned furniture items during office hour on any

working day with prior permission of the Head of

Institution during 26-9-2016 to 5-10-2016.

8. No claim on the quality and quantity of the articles

will be admitted once the tender is finalised.

9. VAT at the rate applicable will be charged and

collected.

10. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be the final.

11. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason

thereof.
