NOTIFICATION

Whereas, the Directorate of School Education is

leasing out the lands belonging to it to the circus

companies/traders/parties/needy people/for conducting

circus shows/trade fair/exhibitions/political meetings/

religious meeting on short term basis. Normally, the fair

rent fixed by the Revenue Department is levied from

the leasee. However, on considering the request made

by the needy people and in view of difficulties

experienced by them, the lands were leased out on

concessional rent basis with the concurrence of

Finance Department on case to case basis with a view

to recommending the concessional rent for various

purposes, the Director of School Education has

proposed to form a Committee.

2. Now, therefore, Hon’ble Lieutenant-Governor,

Puducherry is pleased to constitute a Rent Fixation

Committee for fixing the concessional rent for leasing

out the lands belonging to the Directorate of School

Education, with the following composition.

3. The Rent Fixation Committee will recommend the

concessional rent for leasing out the Helipad Ground

of Lawspet and AFT Ground at Puducherry belonging

to the Directorate of School Education, Puducherry for

various purposes like political meetings, religious

meetings, trade fairs/exhibitions, public performance like

circus, etc,.

4. The Committee shall submit its recommendations

to the Government within a month.

5. The Member-Secretary of the Committee shall be

the Convener of the Committee. The Committee may

regulate its own proceedings.

It is hereby notified that the original H.S.C.

Mark Certificate, bearing Serial No. AB1959043 of March

1996 session in respect of Tmt. Deeba S., an ex-pupil

of Annai Theresa Government Girls’ Higher Secondary

School, Karaikal is reported to have been lost and

beyond scope of recovery, it is proposed to issue

a duplicate certificate. If the original certificate is to

be found by anybody, it should be sent to the

Secretary, State Board of Secondary Examinations,

Chennai-6 for cancellation, as it is no longer valid.

It is hereby notified that the original S.S.L.C.

Mark Certificate, bearing Serial No. 2539310 of April

1994 session in respect of Tmt. Deeba S., an ex-pupil

of

Murugathal Government Girls’ High School,

Karaikal is reported to have been lost and beyond

scope of recovery, it is proposed to issue a duplicate

certificate. If the original certificate is to be found by

anybody, it should

be sent to the Director of

Whereas, the Government is of the opinion that an

industrial dispute has arisen between the management

over non-employment;

And whereas, in the opinion of the Government, it

is necessary to refer the said dispute for adjudication;

Now, therefore, by virtue of the authority delegated

vide G.O. Ms. No. 20/91/Lab./L, dated 23-5-1991 of

the Labour Department, Puducherry to exercise the

powers conferred by clause (d) of sub-section (1) of

section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947

(Central Act XIV of 1947), it is hereby directed by

Secretary to Government (Labour) that the said dispute

be referred to the Labour Court, Puducherry for

adjudication. The Labour Court,

Puducherry shall

submit the award within 3 months from the date of

issue of reference as stipulated under sub-section

(2-A) of section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947

and in accordance with rule 10-B of the Industrial

Disputes (Central) Rules, 1957. The party raising the

dispute shall file a statement of claim complete with

relevant documents, list of reliance and witnesses to

the Labour Court, Puducherry within 15 days of the

receipt of the order of reference and also forward a

copy of such statement to each one of the opposite

parties involved in the dispute.
