TENDER NOTICE
Sealed tenders are invited by the the Principal,
Bharathidasan Government College for Women, Puducherry,
for the sale of pruned trees in the college premises.
2. The rate for above pruned trees should be quoted
in a lot.
3. The tenders in sealed cover superscribed as
“Tender for the purchase of pruned trees” should be
addressed to the Principal, Bharathidasan Government
College for Women, Puducherry-605 003, so as to reach
him on or before 7-10-2016 at 3.00 p.m. The tenders will
be opened at 4.00 p.m. on the same day in the presence
of the tenderers present. The tenderer who quotes the
highest rate will be the successful tenderer and tender
will be finalized on his favour.
4. The intending tenderers should deposit an earnest
money of ` 1,000 ( Rupees one thousand only). The
earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers
will be refunded after finalizing the tender and that of
successful tenderers will be deducted towards the cost
of the items.
5. Further, in the event of successful tenderer failing
to pay the cost in full and lift the pruned trees at the
agreed rate, at their own expenses before the close of
third day counted from the date of receipt of
communication from this College, the earnest money
deposit will be once and forever forfeited in favour of
the Government and the concerned tenderer will lose
the right of removal of the items. If, the said third day
happens to be a Government holiday, the date will be
extended till the next working day on receipt of specific
request, in writing from the tenderer.
6. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any
or all tenders without assigning any reason what so
ever. Any contravention of the rules of tender notice
will result in the forfeiture of the earnest money deposit.
7. No claim about the quantity, quality and the value
of the sold goods will be admitted after the tender is
finalized. The removal of items from this Institution shall
be only during working hours.
8. Sales tax will be collected as per existing rates.
9. The successful tenderer should make his own
arrangement to weigh the pruned trees subject to the
satisfaction of the undersigned in regard to weighment.

named as ‘Alagappan’, and the said name has been

are denote one and the same person i.e., my son
only.
