RETENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited offering the highest rate

per kilogram of unused Firewoods available in various

Government Schools in Karaikal region under the

control of the Chief Educational Officer, Karaikal for

sale by the undersigned in as-is-where-is condition

through tender-cum-public auction.

Terms and conditions

1. Tenders superscribing on the envelope as “Retender

for the purchase of unused Firewoods” should reach

the Chief Educational Officer, Karaikal on or before

14-10-2016 at 4.00 p.m. The tenders will be opened

on the same day at 4.30 p.m. in the presence of the

tenderers, if any.

2. The intending tenderers should deposit an

earnest money deposit of

2,000 (Rupees two

thousand only) while submitting the tender.

3. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers will be refunded after finalizing the tender.

4. Tenders received after the stipulated date and

time will not be accepted.

5. The successful tenderer should pay the full

amount immediately and remove the articles at his/her

own risk and cost, failing which the earnest money

deposit will be forfeited.

6. The Chief Educational Officer, Karaikal reserves

the right to accept or reject any or all tenders without

assigning any reason thereof.

7. The Sales tax at the admissible rate will be

collected extra on the sale proceeds.

8. The intending tenderers can inspect the

firewoods during the office hours on any working day

in the respective Government Schools of Karaikal with

the permission of the Headmasters’ concerned.

9. No claim about the quantity and quality of the

articles will be entertained once the tender is finalized.

10. In case of dispute if any, the decision of the

undersigned will be final and binding in all concerned.
