Whereas, it has been decided in the Plan Review

Meeting held in the presence of the Minister for

Agriculture that a District Level Committee under the

Chairmanship of District Collector, Karaikal would be

constituted to promote the industrial developments at

Karaikal.

2. And whereas, the Collector, Karaikal had

submitted a proposal to Government for constitution

of the District Level Committee.

3. And therefore, the Government has approved the

addition of the local produces like agriculture

and marine products.

(c) Conducting programmes to convert the waste

to cost like agriculture residues, municipal

garbage, industrial waste, fisheries waste, etc.,

(d) Awareness

creation

for

the

cluster

development programmes.

(e) Conducting seminars/workshops to create

awareness for the MSME programmes.

(f) Facilitating the entrepreneurs to avail the

Central and State subsidies, facilities for

marketing support and other incentives.

(g) Conducting programmes to fine tune the

marketability of the industrial products and

services.

(h) Promotion of service activities to facilitate

the digital India and other e-initiatives

(i)

Recommendation for Budgetary provision.

Act 1967 (Act 5 of 1967), the Lieutenant-Governor,

Puducherry is pleased to extend the time limit up to

30-11-2016 for payment of Motor Vehicles tax for the 3rd

quarter of the financial year 2016-17 i.e., from 1-10-2016

to 31-12-2016 in respect of all Transport Vehicles used

or kept for use in the Union territory of Puducherry.

under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, instead of

Restricted Holiday on 13-10-2016 (Thursday) already

declared vide G.O. Ms. No. 72, dated 27-10-2015 of

Home Department, Puducherry, Saturday, the 22nd

October, 2016 will be a working day in lieu thereof.

2. Sealed tenders should be addressed to the

Executive Engineer, Special Buildings Division-I,

Public

Works

Department,

Puducherry

duly

superscribed on the envelope as “Tenders for the

purchase of condemned and unserviceable articles” in

as-is-where-is condition and should reach this office

on or before 25-11-2016 at 1.00 p.m. the tenders will

be opened at 4.00 p.m. on the same day by the

undersigned (or) the authorized officers in the presence

of the tenderers at the office of the undersigned.

The highest rate quoted tenderer will be considered as

successful tenderer. If, the last date falls on public

holiday the next working day will be the date for the

tender sale.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit a sum

of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) as earnest money

deposit in cash in the Office of the Executive

Engineer, Special Buildings Division-I, Public Works

Department, Puducherry on the date of auction.

4. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers will be refunded immediately after the tender

sale is over.

5. Tenders received after the due date and time will

be rejected.

6. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any tender in part or whole without assigning

any reasons thereof.

7. The successful tenderer should pay the full

amount including Sales tax immediately and clear the

items within 24 hours at his own risk and cost, failing

which the deposit amount will be forfeited.

8. No claim about the quantity and quality of the

articles will be admitted after the tender is finalized.

Sales tax will be charged as per the rates applicable at

the time of auction.

9. If, the successful tenderer not paid the full

amount including Sales tax within the specified time,

the tender will be passed on to the next highest rate quoted

tenderer.

10. The intending tenderers can inspect the

unserviceable items in this office from 10.00 a.m. to

1.00 p.m. on 23-11-2016.

11. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be the final.
