Mark Certificates and beyond the scope of recovery, the necessary steps have been taken to issue duplicate

certificates. If, any one finds the original mark certificate(s), it/they may be sent to the Secretary, State Board

of Secondary Examinations, College Road, Chennai – 600 006 for cancellation, as it is/they are no longer valid.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders offering the rate per kilogram are

invited from the local bidders for the sale of the

following old items belonging to the Chief Secretariat,

Puducherry.

2. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the

Deputy Secretary to Government (Establishment),

Chief Secretariat, Puducherry duly superscribing on

the envelope as “Tender for purchase of old newspapers,

magazines, waste papers and scrap materials (plastic

and metal)” and to reach the undersigned, on or

before 28-11-2016 at 12.00 noon. The tenders will be

opened at 4.00 p.m. on the same day in the presence

of the tenderers who are present in the office of the

undersigned at the Chief Secretariat, Puducherry.

3. If, necessary, the auction will be conducted among

the tenderers to fix the highest rate.

4. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount

of

` 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only ) as earnest

money deposit.

5. The earnest money deposit of the unsucessful

tenderers will be refunded immediately soon after the

tender is over.

6. The tender(s) received after the due date and time

will be rejected.

7. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any tender without assigning any reason thereof.

8. The successful tenderer should pay the full

amount immediately as and when call made and clear

the old items within 24 hours at his own risk and cost,

failing which the earnest money deposit will be forfeited.

9. No claim on the quantity and quality for the

articles will be admitted once the tender is finalized.

10. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be the final.

11. The rate for each item should be quoted separately.

12. The rates finalized/approved shall be valid for

a period of one year from the date of acceptance/

communication of the rates so approved.

13. VAT/Sales tax will be collected on the sale of

old newspapers, magazines, wate papers and scrap

materials as per the rates prevailing at the time of

disposal/sale.
