(G.O. Ms. No. 68, Puducherry, dated 2nd December 2016)

ORDER

As a mark of respect to the late Sri. A.V. Sreedharan, Former Deputy Speaker, Puducherry Legislative

Assembly, Puducherry, State Mourning shall be observed for three days with effect from Friday the 2nd

December 2016. The National Flag will be flown at half-mast for 3 days from 2nd December 2016 throughout the

Union territory of Puducherry on all the buildings where it is flown regularly. It has been decided that as a mark of

respect to the departed leader, there shall be no official entertainment during the period of State Mourning.

2. It has also been decided to extend full State Honour and State Funeral to the departed leader.
