AUCTION NOTICE

Old, obsolete and unserviceable articles as listed in

the Annexure belonging to this Department will be sold

in public auction in as-is-where-is condition at 4.30 p.m.

on 19-12-2016 in the premises of the Commercial Taxes

Department Complex, 100 Feet Road, Ellaipillaichavady,

Pudupalayam, Puducherry-605 005.

The auction will be conducted in the presence of the

Officers of this Department.

Terms and conditions:

1. The intending bidders should deposit an amount of

`1,500 (Rupees one thousand five hundred only) in valid

currency towards earnest money deposit to the

Storekeeper, Office of the Commissioner (CT),

Commercial Taxes Department, Puducherry-605 005

before 1.00 p.m. on 19-12-2016. Only those persons

who have deposited money will be allowed to participate

in the auction.

2. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

bidders will be refunded immediately after the auction

is finalized.

3. The auction will be conducted for all the items in

a lot or particular item in a lot and knocked down in

favour of the highest bidder. The successful bidder should

pay the full amount immediately and remove the articles

within 24 hours at his own risk and cost, failing which

the earnest money deposit will be forfeited.

4. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any or all bids without assigning any reason

therefor.

5. The Government will in no way be held responsible

for the safe custody of the stores once the auction is

confirmed.

6. No claim about the condition and value of the stores

will be admitted once the bid is finalized.

7. Sales tax as prevalent at the time of auction will

be charged extra.

8. The intending bidders may inspect the obsolete/

unserviceable articles during office hours with the prior

permission of the undersigned.

9. If, the auction day happens to be public holiday

for any reason, the auction will be conducted on the next

working day.

10. The bidders are strictly forbidden to form any

group discussion or quarrel inside the hall during

auction. If, any violation, they will not be allowed to

participate in the auction and will be sent outside.

11. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be the final.
