NOTIFICATION

The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry is pleased to enhance the

quantum of Financial Assistance to Scheduled Castes for performance

of funeral rites, and for the said purpose, hereby makes the following

amendment to “The Puducherry Grant of Financial Assistance to

Scheduled Castes to perform Funeral Rites Rules, 1982” notified

in G.O. Ms. No. 125/82-HEW (HW), dated 10th November 1982 of the

Health, Electricity and Works Department, Puducherry and published

in the Gazette of Puducherry, Extraordinary No. 49, dated 7-12-1982

of the Government of Pondicherry (hereinafter referred to as the said

rules), namely:—

AMENDMENT

In the said rules, in rule 4, for the words and figures “Rs. 10,000

(Rupees ten thousand only)”, the words and figures “ ` 15,000 (Rupees

fifteen thousand only)” shall be substituted. The Financial Assistance

shall be released by (Aadhaar Payment Bridge) APB/ECS.

2. This notification shall be come into force with effect from

the date of issue.

3. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department

vide their I.D. No. 2109/FC/FD/F5/A2/2016, dated 11-10-2016.
