NOTIFICATION

The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry is pleased to enhance the

quantum of stipend to poor Scheduled Caste trainees undergoing training

in Vocational Training Centres in this Union territory of Puducherry

in Cutting and Tailoring trade under the Scheme of “Vocational Training

and, Aid and Mat Weaving Course” conducted by the Adi-Dravidar

Welfare Department and for the said purpose hereby makes the

following further amendment to “The Rules and Regulations for the

admission of candidates into the Vocational Training and, Aid and Mat

Weaving Course conducted by the Department for the Welfare of

Scheduled Castes” notified vide G.O. Ms.No. 250/78-HEW(HW), dated

19th December 1978 of the Health, Electricity and Works Department,

Puducherry and published in the Gazette of Puducherry, No. 2, dated

9-1-1979 (herein referred to as the said rules), namely:—

AMENDMENT

In the said rules, in rule 6, for the words and figures “Rs. 750 (Rupees

Seven hundered and fifty only)”, for the words and figures “ ` 1,500

(Rupees One thousand and five hundred only)” shall be substituted.

The stipend shall be given only by (Aadhaar Payment Bridge) APB/ECS.

2. This notification shall be deemed to have come into force with

effect from January 2017.

3. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department,

Puducherry vide their U.O. No. 2360/FC/FD/F5/A2/2016, dated 21-11-2016.
