Karaikal, the 1st December 2016.

TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited for offering the rate for

purchase of the old newspapers for the period from

1-6-2012 to 30-11-2016 of this office and for the

period from 1-6-2004 to 30-11-2016 pertaining to the

Department of Science, Technology and Environment,

Kottucherry, Karaikal as mentioned below.

2. The rates should be quoted for each of the above

items separately.

3. The tenders should be in sealed covers superscribed

as “Tender for the purchase of old newspapers” to

reach the Assistant Director of Industries and Commerce,

Kottucherry, Karaikal, on or before 30-12-2016

at 10.30 a.m. The tenders will be opened on the same

day at 12.00 noon in the presence of the tenderers if

any, present in the Chamber of the Assistant Director

of Industries and Commerce, Kottucherry, Karaikal.

If, this tender opening day happens to be a holiday,

declared by the Government, the date of opening will

automatically be postponed to the next working day at

the same time.

4. The intending tenderers should deposit a sum of

` 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only) in cash as earnest

money deposit at this office along with the sealed

tender.

5. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers will be refunded immediately after the tender

is finalized.

6. The tenders received after the due date and time

will be rejected.

7. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any tender or all of them without assigning any

reason thereof.

8. The successful tenderer should pay the full

amount immediately and remove the materials within

24 hours at his own risk and cost, failing which the

earnest money deposit will be forfeited.

9. Sales tax at the rate applicable will be collected

extra.

10. No claim about the quantity/quality and value

of the said goods will be admitted once the tender is

finalized.

11. The intending tenderers can inspect the old

newspapers during office hours in the said premises.

12. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be the final.

TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders offering the rate for purchase of

wooden logs (mango tree) which are lying in the

permises of this office are invited by the undersigned

as detailed below.

2. Tenders in a sealed cover superscribed as

“Tender for the purchase of wooden logs (mango

tree)” should be addressed to the undersigned so as

to reach this office before 10.30 a.m. on 3-1-2017.

The received tenders will be opened on the same day

at 11.00 a.m. in the presence of those tenderers or

their representatives those who are present.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit a sum of

` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) in cash as earnest

money deposit before submitting their tenders. The

deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded

after the finalization of the tender.

4. The wooden logs (mango tree) may be inspected

during office hours on any working day.

5. No claim on the quality and quantity of the

articles will be admitted once the tender is finalised.

6. The successful tenderer should remove the

wooden logs at his own cost within 24 hours of

acceptance of his/her tender after remitting the total

cost of wooden logs and the Sales tax thereon at the

prevailing rate. The successful tenderer should make

his own arrangements for clearing the items.

7. The undersigned reserves the right to reject/

accept any tender without assigning any reason

thereof.
