NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the

Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 (Central Act 39 of

1987), read with rule 4 of the Union territory of Puducherry

Legal Services Authority Rules, 1998 and in consultation

with His Lordship the Acting Chief Justice of the

High Court of Judicature at Madras, the Lieutenant-Governor,

Puducherry is pleased to nominate Hon’ble Thiru Justice

Huluvadi G. Ramesh, a Senior Judge of the High Court of

Judicature at Madras as the Executive Chairman of the

Union territory of Puducherry Legal Services Authority,

Puducherry with effect from the date of assumption of

office vice Thiru Justice M. Jaichandren, a Senior Judge

of the High Court of Judicature at Madras has

superannuated on 24-2-2017.

GOVERNMENT GENERAL HOSPITAL

Karaikal, the 1st March 2017.

TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited offering the rate for the

sale of old/unserviceable articles as detailed in the

annexure belonging to this hospital, in as-is-where-is

condition. The annexures are displayed in the Notice

Board of this Government General Hospital, Karaikal.

2. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the

Medical Superintendent, General Hospital, Karaikal

duly superscribing on the envelope as “Tender for

purchase of old/unserviceable articles” and to reach

the undersigned on or before 12-4-2017 at 11.00 a.m.

The rate should be quoted for lot only. The tenders will

be opened at 4.00 p.m. on the same date in the

presence of the tenderers who are present. In case the

prescribed date happens to be holiday, the tender will

be conducted on the next working day.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount

of ` 20,000 (Rupees twenty thousand only) as Demand

Draft in favour of the Medical Superintendent,

Government General Hospital, Karaikal as earnest

money deposit. The earnest money deposit of the

unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded after the

tender sale is completed. Tenders without earnest

money deposit will not be taken into consideration.

4. Tenders received after the stipulated date and

time will be summarily be rejected.

5. The successful tenderer should pay the full

amount with the applicable Sales tax, etc., immediately

and clear the sold articles within 24 hours at his own

risk, failing which the earnest money deposit will be

forfeited.

6. No claim on the quantity and quality of the

articles will be admitted once the tender is accepted.

If, the tender amount is less than the asset value of the

materials, the tender will be rejected.

7. The intending tenderers may inspect the articles

as per the annexure on 11-4-2017 only with the

permission of the undersigned.

8. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any as all the tenders in full or part without

assigning any reason thereof.

9. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be the final.

unserviceable articles" so as to reach the undersigned

on or before 10-4-2017 by 3.30 p.m. The tenders will be

opened on the same day at 4.30 p.m. in the presence

of the tenderers present if any, at the chamber of

Senior Accounts Officer, Co-operative Department,

Puducherry.

2. Tenders received after the due date and time will

summarily be rejected.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount

of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) as earnest money

deposit to the Cashier, Co-operative Department,

Puducherry at the time of submitting their tender.

The tenders without earnest money deposit will

summarily be rejected.

4. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers will be refunded after the tender sale is over/

finalized.

5. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any tender or the items without assigning any

reason thereof. The decision of the undersigned is

final in case of any dispute.

6. The successful tenderer should pay the entire

amount immediately and clear all the articles within

24 hours at his own risk and cost, failing which the

earnest money deposit will be forfeited.

7. No claim about the quantity, quality and value of

the unserviceable articles will be admitted once the

tender is finalized.

8. The intending

tenderers can

inspect the

unserviceable articles during the office hours on any

working day in the Office of the Registrar of

Co-operative Societies, VVP Nagar, Thattanchavady,

Puducherry-605 009 with the permission of the Senior

Accounts Officer between 10.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m.

from 3-4-2017 to 7-4-2017.

9. The sale will be effected only to the highest rate

quoted tenderer.

10. The Government is in no way be held

responsible for the safe custody of the articles once

the tender is confirmed

11. The Sales tax as per the rate in force will be

charged extra on the amount finalized.

12. Any incomplete tender received is liable for

rejection.
