TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited by the Chief Educational

Officer, Karaikal for the sale of old newspapers,

magazines, answer scripts and empty gunny bags as-is-

where-is in condition as detailed for the year 2016-17.

1. The tenders in sealed cover superscribed on the

envelope with the words “Tenders for the purchase of

old newspapers, magazines, answer scripts and empty

gunny bags due on 26-4-2017” should reach the office

of the undersigned at 3.00 p.m. on or before

26-4-2017.

2. The tenders so received will be opened on the

same day at 4.30 p.m. in the presence of the tenderers

or their representatives who are present at that time.

3. The tenders received after the due date and time

will be rejected.

4. If, for any reason, the tender opening day

happens to be a holiday, the same will be opened on

the next working day at 11.30 a.m.

5. The intending tenderers should deposit an

amount of earnest money deposit of ` 2,000 (Rupees

two thousand only) in cash along with the tender. The

earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers

will be refunded only after finalizing the tender.

6. The successful tenderer should ascertain/

weighing the quantity in kilograms of each item from

the in-charges of the Schools and in the stores section

of the Chief Educational Office, Karaikal and pay the

cost along with the applicable Sales tax to the

Headmaster of the Schools/Cashier of the Office of

the Chief Educational Officer, Karaikal and remove the

old newspapers and other items within 24 hours from

the time of tender sale is over.

7. The successful tenderer should make his own

arrangements to weigh the old newspapers, magazines,

answer scripts and empty gunny bags.

8. The intending

tenderers can

inspect the

old newspapers in the stores section and Schools

during the office hours on all working days from

3-4-2017 onwards.

9. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject the tender/tenders without assigning any reason

therefor.

10. No claim on the quantity and quality of the

newspapers and other items will be admitted once the

tender is finalized.

11. Rates should be mentioned for each item

separately.

12. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Chief

Educational Officer, Karaikal will be the final and binding.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Tenders in sealed covers are invited by the Member-

Secretary, Pondicherry Institute of Post-Matric Technical

Education (PIPMATE), Lawspet, Puducherry for the

sale of old newspapers both in Tamil and English/

unserviceable articles mentioned in the Annexure

belonging to PIPMATE, Puducherry in as-is-where-is

condition.

Terms and Conditions for sale

1. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the

Member-Secretary, PIPMATE, Lawspet, Puducherry

duly superscribing on the envelop as “Tender for the

purchase of old unserviceable articles” and to be sent

to the undersigned so as to reach this office on or

before 20-4-2017 at 12.00 noon.

2. The tenders so received will be opened on the

same day at 4.30 p.m. in the presence of those

tenderers or thier representatives who are present at

that time in the Chamber of Member-Secretary,

PIPMATE and auction will be conducted among the

tenderers.

3. The highest rate quoated will be treated as

minimum upset price and then public auction will be

started immediately.

4. The tenders received after the due date and time

will be rejected.

5. If, for any reasons, the opening day of tenders

happens to be a holiday, the same will be opened on

the next working day at 11.30. a.m.

6. The intending tenderers should deposit a sum of

` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) in cash as earnest

money deposit before submitting their tenders. The

earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers

will be refunded only after finalization of the tender-

cum-auction process.

7. The successful tenderer should pay the entire

amount immediately along with Sales tax and clear all

the items sold within 24 hours at his own risk and cost,

failing which the earnest money deposit will be

forfeited into the PIPMATE Account.

8. The selected tenderer should make his own

arrangements to weigh the old unserviceable articles.

The intending tenderers can inspect the old

newspapers/unserviceable items during the office hours

on all working days from 13-4-2017.

10. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any tender/auction without assigning any reason

thereof.

11. No claim on the quantity and quality of the

newspapers will be admitted once the tender is

finalized.

12. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

Member-Secretary will be the final and binding.

13. Separate rate should be mentioned for items

indicated in Annexure I and II.

14. Sales tax will be charged extra as per the rates

applicable at the time of tender sale for the bid

amount.

2. Tender documents can be downloaded from the website http://pudutenders.gov.in and is also available

3. The interested firms may submit the tenders online http://pudutenders.gov.in in two bid system in the

prescribed pro forma. All the documents in support of eligibility criteria, etc. are also be scanned and uploaded with

the tender documents. Tenders sent by any other mode will not be accepted. The interested firms can inspect the

waste paper/board cuttings at Government Central Press, Puducherry on any working day from 12-4-2017 to

2-5-2017 from 10.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. except Saturday and Sunday.

4. The online technical tender and other documents will be evaluated only on receipt of earnest money

deposit in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Senior Accounts Officer, Directorate of Stationery and

Printing, Puducherry in sealed cover superscribed as “Earnest money deposit for e-tender for Annual Contract for sale/

disposal of waste paper/board cuttings for the year 2017-18” will be received up to 2-5-2017 at 4.00 p.m. in the
