NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (d), read with clause (a) (ii) (B) of section 2 of the Right of

Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 (35 of 2009), the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is hereby

pleased to notify that the Children living with or affected by HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) in the Union

territory of Puducherry are belonging to a disadvantaged group for the purpose of section 2(d) of the Right of

Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009.
