GENERAL NOTICE
Whereas, I, Rajiv Ranjan, I.P.S., Senior Superintendent of Police (Law
and Order), Puducherry, on being satisfied that there is likelihood of breach of peace
in Puducherry region, owing to the proposed agitations/demonstrations by various
political parties/organizations/associations and other law and order arrangements,
which may cause dislocation of traffic, danger to the community, damages/loss
to private and public properties and disturbance to public order.
Now, therefore, in view of ensuing Assembly Session, I, Rajiv Ranjan, I.P.S.,
Senior Superintendent of Police (Law and Order), Puducherry, in exercise of the powers
conferred on me by virtue of section 30(2) of the Police Act, (Act V of 1861), do hereby
impose the Regulatory Order in Puducherry region for a period of 30 days from
16-5-2017 to 14-6-2017 (both days inclusive) as follows:
